Another good video preview so thanks for that.

Difficult to argue with your conclusion, but as you say below, there's also a good argument for Fury by UD.

I think there's two factors which you could've mentioned which may or may not be decisive. The first is the cut. This is a big cut in a bad location and according to a seasoned cut guy, Fury had no business even heavy sparring until 9 months later. This, coupled with a less than stellar performance against Wallin and the suggestion of him slowing pushed me towards favouring Wilder as you have.

The second, which may or may not be related, is Fury's decision to switch trainer and prepare a the Kronk gym. Obviously he has a connection from his previous time there, but there's another factor which I've not seen many make much of. Mark Breland is a product of the Kronk gym and it's Breland more than Deeas who I think is behind Wilder's improvements and fight strategy.

Much has been made of Fury's wish to be more offensive, maybe to try and end the fight before the cut comes into play, but I wonder if at least some of his thinking is around negating a Kronk style attack?

Fury's smart and technically accomplished enough to make relatively big tactical changes. That's where the uncertainty lies for me.
