Fury should bring Dustin Nichols with him to the next conference and parade him around as the man who floored Windmill with a check jab..

 

Part of the objective must be to raise his profile in Europe and thus his claim to a bigger share of revenues from an AJ fight?

 

Ok but it's the moderators who said that. They probably could care less about Wilder's share from AJ, they're trying to talk up Fury as some sort of charismatic media-star from Europe when in reality most people over here know he is a troubled joke that no one takes seriously.

 

The guys who sign the moderators pay checks care. They are paying big money to get these two guys in the ring, so they surely want to big them up as much as possible. Otherwise they look like idiots for signing them?

 

Showtime cares if Wilder gets a big percentage cut of a fight vs. AJ? You mean as getting a roadblock out of the way so the fight happens, then yes. But if its 40% or 50% I doubt they care much.

 

Espinoza has invested large sums of showtimes money into Wilder's career. He wants him talked up at every turn.
