Both resume and H2H. IMO the clear #3 and #4 hw's in the division. This is also the HW fight I'd be most intrigued by as far as matchup goes. I'd put Wilder slightly above Fury in resume and a little more than slightly in h2h chances. Both are undefeated, and since neither has faced a ton of great opp, their top 4 opponents is a good way to judge resume:

#1 Wilder: Stiverne, Fury: Chisora(twice). I'd call this even. Stiverne is definitely better and more accomplished than Chisora, but Fury beat Chisora twice, once by stoppage.

#2 Wilder: Scott. Fury: Cunningham. Slight advantage Wilder. Scott and Cunningham are comparably accomplished fighters in the hw division, maybe Cunningham's slightly better. But Fury went life and death with Cunningham, Wilder blew out Scott.

#3 Wilder: Duhaupas Fury: Hammer. Solid edge Wilder. Both were similarly dominant wins. Duhaupas is a clear step above Hammer as an opponent however. Hammer's best win was a debatable decision victory against a shot Johnson. Duhaupas's best was against Charr, who more decisively beat the same Johnson.

#4 Wilder: shot White Wolf or Molina Fury: Kevin Johnson. Clear edge Fury. There's a big gap between 3 and 4 for Wilder, Fury's big gap doesn't happen until 4 to 5.

All told, Wilder's top 3 wins being as good or better than Fury's arguably more than even out the edge Fury gets for his #4 win. So, on resume, I'd put Wilder about even or slightly above Tyson Fury.

On h2h, there's more variety among Wilder's best wins. You have a great power guy in Stiverne, a big guy in Duhapuas, a speedy boxer in Scott. With Fury you've got much smaller swarmers or boxers. Nobody with great power or real good size though, so there are more questions to me about Fury. Both have questions about their chin, but Fury's are more genuine uncertainties since he hasn't faced anyone remotely as powerful as Stiverne (or Wilder). I think Fury could outbox Wilder for sustained periods, but I think Wilder would put him on the canvass repeatedly and probably end the fight early. Would be a great matchup though, could definitely see it going either way. I hope one day it happens.

Wilder was offered to step in for Haye and battle Fury on Sky PPV for big bucks.

    He refused.

Fury retires guys by looking them in the eye.

Wlad may still withdraw from the fight.

I'd give Fury's resume the slight edge. Wilder's resume get's a lot of criticism but in reality Fury's is not much better if better at all. It's clear Fury has also been heavily protected on the way up.

Ustinov, TT, Pulev, Teper all those guys were willing to face Fury yet he chose to fight Cunningham, Chisora and Hammer. Also, Wlad didn't extend his TV deal for 5 more fights to avoid Fury and retire.

Wilder , Jennings , Povetkin ducked Fury. Haye and Vitali retired to avoid him.

No they didn't. But what I clearly remember is Fury pulling out of the Ustinov fight without an injury and EBU ordering him to defend against Teper but Fury opting to fight Hammer instead.

Fury is world level and #1 mando to the HW Title.

He had no business messing around with any Euro title

The point was Fury choosing to fight Hammer instead of Teper, who'd be a lot better stay busy fight and a great test for him.

I'd agree with most of what you wrote but I'd personally count Chisora as 2 separate fights and not lump them together. If you do that then things start swinging more to Fury's advantage.

Either way I'd say their resumes are pretty comparable at the moment. If they do face each other I think Wilder is a big favorite to beat Fury and probably by ko.

    :smoke

Teper may well have KTFO the Gypsy Batman!!

then no big money Waldo cash-out fight!!

Teper can KO with one shot... he had Rogan
and Price out cold with one punch although he
hit them once or twice more as they were
    crashing to the canvas... LMAO

:nono Wilder... Fury... avoid the hard hitters!!!

unless there's some big $$$ involved...

Don't want their Glass Mandibles Shattered
for peanuts... would ruin future payday also...

btw... Wilder vs Scott = Dive

Wilder vs Stiverne = Fishy due to Don King
involved and Stiverne training like Dustin
"Worm" Nichols getting ready for a Pizza
    Pie Eating Contest!!

    :burger
