Actually Helenius is more of a dangerous opponent than I expected Wilder to fight in a comeback . Give Wilder his due for one thing, every boxing fan on these forums will be eagerly watching this fight as Wilder does bring mayhem with his right hand. Wilder should nail Helenius and get him outta there but if he can get to Wilder with something hard who knows how he will react.

Good move. With a win over the WBA's #2-rated Helenius, Wilder jumps to the top of the WBA ratings and puts himself in position to fight the Joshua-Usyk 2 winner next.

Or he could at least score a final eliminator with Daniel Dubois, which would be a fun shootout.

The division is always more fun with Deontay Wilder around.

How do you step up from fighting the best heavyweight in the world three times?

Who is rated higher than Fury?

Is it Usyk? Then this puts Wilder right up in the top spot in the WBA to fight Usyk next.

    Would that be okay?

I know you desperately want to insult Wilder.

But maybe you should stop talking for a while.

    you said 2nd best victory.
I said 6th. you change goal posts but I let it pass.
    4 opponents . 5 victory .
not sure how you calculate 2nd best.

Stiverne was ****. yes. agree. in 2015 was also more legit victory than Helenius is opponent in 2022.

whatever he is not 2nd. he was blasted by bums who were blasted by Wilder already.

Last month, Ben Shallom of Sky/Boxxer was saying the winner of WBA#1 Michael Hunter vs. WBA#3 Hughie Fury would become mandatory for regular belt holder Daniel Dubois.

So I imagine Wilder (unranked) vs. WBA#2 Helenius would replace them as Dubois' mandatory, should Boxxer give up on rescheduling the Hunter vs. Fury bout.

I suppose one strategy might be for Wilder to win this to get a ranking with the WBA then throw money at Hunter to step in instead of Hughie Fury.

But I very much doubt Wilder gets called as mandatory to Usyk via WBA any time soon. Frank Warren would have fits
