I think Helenius is going to get ktfo! But I wouldnt be surprised if he hurt Wilder as well, both big punchers with not that great chins.

Robbie hurt Whyte a few times and lasted the distance, he just has a poor gastank nowadays, still dangerous.

Helenius and Wilder sparred a lot. I think Wilder probably picks him for a reason as his "comeback" fight. If Helenius shows up he can win. But i have a weird feeling that we might see another fake diving contest with Deontay Wilder involved. Malik Scott approved!

Seems to be a common sentiment online - idk. Helenius has sparred with everyone and seems to be pretty agreeable, so that's why he's brought back constantly. Helenius knows that a win here would open up what would likely be a career high payday, and a probable shot at the world titles which has eluded him thus far. Unlike Scott he can punch and has power that Wilder must respect. I just can't see him taking a dive regardless of the result - he's just got too much momentum going in his career. Based on all of his recent interviews he's in love with boxing again and seriously primed for the task at hand.

Well. You have to think about it at least. Not saying it'll be a dive. But this fight is weird to be honest. It's a high risk low reward fight for Wilder. I didn't expect such a fight.

And yeah, Helenius has sparred a lot of guys over the years but he was invited to Alabama by Wilder and lived in his house i believe when they sparred. And Helenius is nowhere near a title shot anyway. Personally i think the Wilder fight is probably his best payday. If he beats him he's likely fighting Ortiz or Ruiz. Not sure if thats a bigger fight than Wilder. On the other side...if he loses...he's probably getting like 5-6 chances to fight PBC guys in the future.

Well...as you see...i'm acting a bit like a tin hat. But for me this fight makes no sense at all to rebuild Wilders career. Either fight some lower risk guy to get back in rythm and gain some confidence OR take a big fight to make money. This isn't a big fight for Wilder financially and if he loses he'll retire most likely.

As i said...if Helenius shows up he can win. He's a less polished and skilled version of Fury.

Yeah it's caused me some pause as well... - Wilder is also extremely delusional so I wouldn't put it past him reading too much into Helenius' agreeable demeanor and/or how some of those sparring sessions went. I really think Scott is just a yesman who sees Wilder as an easy meal ticket - I doubt he cares so long as he's payed. I think Wilder just sees this a winnable fight to get back in the mix of things, at almost 37 years old he doesn't want to **** around. Claims that by 40 he's done.

Definitely agree there. Less polished and skilled but probably the heavier handed guy, with his momentum, those two rough losses it's a very intriguing fight provided he shows up. Hopefully those fears are just that and we get a good fight(I think this will be the case)

Wilder is always in exciting fights. The bar has been set pretty low if folks expected an easier fight for a guy who has just fought Fury 3 times and put him down several times during those fights. I'm not the best analyst by any means, but the few fights I've seen Helenius in he seems to serve his chin up on a silver platter. Expect more people. If Robert can find Wilders new off button the Fury made above his left ear/temple area he has a chance. Should be fun while it lasts!

Helenius is going from back to back wins over Kownacki to an on-his-back loss to Wilder. The Bronze Bomber in three rounds
