Similar to Fury-Wilder II or Holmes Cooeny. I'll say Holmes in ten.

Similar to the Cooney fight except wilder gets knocked out earlier. Also really, 90s Holmes beats wilder? Holmes might do well early on but he gets knocked out.

When I match historically, I don't handicap fighters of yesteryear due to their lack of access to better nutrition, etc.....That's fairly obvious. If they were fighting, they're gonna have access to the same advanced tactics or lack there of. I also look at size, stamina, speed, power, skill set and what they "actually" did, and how they looked competing. Wilder is tall, but he's also small, and isn't by any significance faster than Holmes. He's not as skillful as Holmes, nor is he as durable. There are quite a few opponents that lasted rounds with Wilder without being as good defensively or offensively as a prime Holmes, plus Holmes showed he can be planted and still get up and win.

Holmes up through Michael Spinks would stop Wilder IMO.
The Holmes that beat Ray Mercer would get stopped however.

I can see a Holmes Ko but If Holmes Doesn’t knocks him out , I see Holmes dominating for 10 rnds and then getting caught by a Wilder haymaker.

Against Holmes from 1978-1980 Wilder or Tyson from 1988th did not had any chance to finish distance on their foot.
Later versions of Holmes doesn't looks that might offer something enough for Tyson from 1988 th of course.
Holmes from 1978-1980 landed a jab and body shot while Wilder missed his money punch.
Wilder had only 2 boxers in his ring: old Ortiz and out of retirement ring rusty Fury in first matchup vs Fury, then improved version of Fury in 2 nd matchup.
All previous fights for him were walk in the office, these other boxers Wilder defeated easily.

Advanced training methods? LOL what Wilder needs is basic boxing fundamentals training.
Holmes is way too skilled for Wilder. As mentioned already, if he couldn't deal with Fury's jab, what we do against arguably the greatest jab in heavyweight history?

Any version of Holmes up until the mid nineties would take Wilder. The early version might get knocked down then rally back with a stoppage, the later version likely plays it safe and boxes to a decision. Wilder would try to hang back and box with Holmes, given the monumental dumbass that he is, which would see Holmes tee off on him. Later, when Wilder tries to go for broke, he might catch a sleeping Holmes with his right and drop him, but unless he knocks him unconscious like Mike did Holmes gets off the canvas and goes to work.

Now Holmes vs Fury, that's a much more intriguing fight.

Is Dan Brown a better writer than Cervantes? Is Cardi B a better singer songwriter than the Beatles? Not everything progresses in an upwards direction.

I don't see how anyone can look at Wilder and seriously consider him to be the product of advanced training techniques. Advanced PEDs maybe, but in almost every aspect of boxing related to technique Wilder's stuck in the Stone Age.

You realize that the extra 50 pounds of pure blubber Fury carries around doesn't give him extra punching power correct? That's why he's the most featherfisted fighter in the division even though he's bigger than everyone else

TAfter he knocks out Wilder again and brutalizes AJ then let me know.

pound for pound Fury doesn't hit that hard relative to his peers, true...but he's still a 270 pound man who is only now just starting to re uptake an aggressive forwards style.
