    Rather than searching through the hundreds of posts in the "Heavyweight Thread" could someone update me on the proposed WBC title fight between heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder and Hughie Fury?

    Pretty much. Either him or Stevenson.. Have a feeling we'll see at least one next year, maybe both.

    Would be a travesty if it happens. WBC needs to enforce the interim status of Pov Stiverne winner. If Wilder fights someone other than the winner, he needs to be stripped. 5 consecutive defenses against sub top 10 hw's would be one of boxings most shameful records.

    Hughie is a solid boxer but he's way too green for Wilder. Wilder probably wins by late TKO.

    Hughie can't knock out anyone. Wilder would put a career shortening beating on him. Tyson F would UD him tho IMO.
