i think Wilder wins...hes reckless in terms of leaving himself open but i dont think JOshua is the most fluid to capitalize on the mistakes.. never thought highly of Wilder but just eating Stivernes lunch like that was impressive. Yes Stiverne was a punching bag, but he threw the right shots at right time and even showed some Loma peek-a-boo footwork at end, gave me a boner tbh

Nice spin... regardless, wilder has to land with that sloppiness to begin with... AJ goes into that fight the favorite, but with power like Wilder has it could be close to 50/50 by the time the bell rings for the first round. This is the biggest fight of '18 no doubt!

Go ahead and make AJ an offer. Nothing to stop Haymon making AJ an offer to get the fight made...............oh wait team Wilder don't have the money to make the fight and it's all down to AJ

So whats stopping Hearn from making the fight? Thats exactly what Wilder wants. He's not making offers , he's waiting for an offer to be made to him.

He has made him an offer. Fight Whyte, beat Whyte and then we can talk.

As I said if Wilder isn't happy with that go ahead and put up the money to get Joshua in the ring first.

Wilder can declare war on Joshua all he wants but the reality is the fight only happens when AJ and Hearn say so as they are the ones who bring the money to the table.

There is a reason Wilder isn't making any offers. They can't afford to pay AJ.

I'm pretty much 90-10 in favour of AJ knocking him out in the first round. Much like how Wilder just smashed the hell out of an inactive plodder who seems to have lost his chin. well, AJ will smash through Wilder's non-existent guard and knock him out pretty early as well. Joshua's was having major success vs one of the best jabs in the business in Wlad. Wilder has no jab to speak off, and AJ's usually breaks people down. The 41 year old Wald would brutally knock out Wilder. I'm not trolling when I say this, a retired Vitali could come back and knock out Wilder.

I personally don't think Wilder is nowhere near ready for AJ right now, fighting Whyte would be a good fight and give Wilder much needed experience vs a top 10 contender. I did favour Whyte in that fight before his matchup with Helenius. Now I'm slightly favoring Wilder in that fight because he can do what Helenius was doing(in the first two rounds) for the entire 12 rounds.

AJ was capitalising on Wald's mistakes when it counted and got him out of there in the end.

"You have to fight Whyte first, otherwise no unification."

That's not making an offer, that's laying an obstacle.

Thats not an offer. Thats Hearn declining a Joshua vs Wilder fight.

Obviously. Thats why Wilder is waiting for the contract. Hearn is putting up Whyte up as a roadblock so he doesn't have to make the fight.

Nope, that's answering critics questions regarding a top ten name on Wilder's resume. That's all that is. The only thing Wilder brings to the fight at the moment is that he's a KO artist with a World title who's never faced a top 10 opponent. That's a tough sell right now. Defeating Whyte would build up the Joshua fight by adding a lot more PPV buys than if it happened right now. That's why the offer is on the table, I don't think Hearn really thinks Whyte beats Wilder, sacrificing Whyte to Wilder is only fuel for the megafight which will get Hearn back his $4 without any issue. This is a business move.
