Joshua is ripe for the taking

He has no more confidence, he can't punch worth a damn and his chin is made of wet toilet paper

Another 1st round KO for Wilder waiting to happen. After that he can blast out Ruiz and expoose Joshua one final time, meanwhile Fury can fight Usyk for all the belts. And then Zang will be lined up for a top 10 contender im guessing. Makhmudov is stepping up. Hrgovic is lined up for a title shot. Joyce is itching to get a crack at the belts soon. Gassiev looks to care more. Etc. It's all coming together.

A glorious year of heavyweight boxing awaits us

Honestly i think thats the next fight that happens, its better late than never and i look at it as a 50/50 fight.

Give us Wilder vs. Joshua, both of them are working on regaining their confidence and Wilder started well, maybe Joshua should beat Wallin before that fight and then this fight would make a lot of sense and the arena or stadium would be full wherever they fight...

It's a massive event and would do more $$ than Fury/Usyk.

I think this is the reason Wilder is hanging around. Good luck to him, he has plenty left in the tank.

I agree that this is not the right time for Joshua, who I think is by far the better fighter when both are at their best.

Joshua should have a solid year of rebuilding and then fight Fury.

I’ve always said Wilder KO’s Joshua due to Joshua lack of head movement. Joshua will probably be up 4 round to none and get caught with the right hook and never fully gain his balance. Fight over.

For now, people will say Wilder will beat AJ, let's wait and see how he can beat Wallin and than make a poll.

I still think, any version of AJ(even now) will beat any version of Wilder.

This is assuming AJ will beat Wallin

I'm calling it right now, Wallin by KO

Doesn't AJ seem like damaged goods to you? I think he's had enough, he doesn't appear to believe in himself anymore.

Well yes, I do. I agree. But he can come back. Wilder was damaged goods for awhile. Remember how he just disappeared, and Warren was reporting that they couldn't even get him on the phone?

I’d kill to see this fight even now. I still favor AJ, I think he’s gained a lot of experience from his losses. Landing on Wilder would be 10x easier after going 24 rounds with the most elusive guy in the division. Still Wilder could stop him obviously.

I’ve been starting to appreciate Wilder more recently. He’s easy to hate on but it’s always nice to be watching a legendary puncher.

    Impossible to call, imo.

I think it gets overlooked a bit that it's quite possible we saw the best AJ yet against Usyk in this rematch. Based on how he took the loss, I also think it's possible AJ still has the fire and determination to keep improving. If the fire is still there, how much did he learn and improve from this second Usyk fight?

Whereas we still know almost nothing about Wilder right now. The Helenius fight tells us nothing.

We know both bring unique strengths and weaknesses into this matchup.

It's a kill or be killed fight that can end any second. With either one having full capabilities of rendering the other unconscious.

Normally I side with the fighter with the better skills, but I guess I have to say I probably do favor Wilder by just a bit due to his grit, resiliency, determination and being a bit psychopathic, I think it gives him a mental edge against AJ that may, may, be a difference maker if it became a gritty fight.

The problem with that is, I question if this fight can even become a gritty one. I suspect there's too much firepower in this one for it to get too blood and guts.

And all the determination in the world means little if AJ is able to land consistently.

This is still a fight that would be in my top 20 favorite matchups of all time if it happens in 2023.

I'm not sure i could back Joshua to get past Wilder's right hand. He's the far away better fighter but that doesn't count for much if he gets caught.

And will be less quality fight.

I don't see Joshua fighting anyone who has some potential to beat him. We saw him how brave he is with the contract story. Meanwhile, same goes for Wilder - he'll continue with his BUM SQUAD, maybe a fourth fight with Fury is something no one needs, but will refresh that boxing joke again.
