    It is not the undercard.

    It is a "co-headline" event

Because Wilder doesn't want to fight Joshua and never has.

Besides, it asks questions of both fighters - Wallin isn't anything overly special but he's good enough to ask questions of Joshua's mindset and confidence... And Parker is way, way more proven that anyone Wilder's ever beaten and would be easily his best win (not that I'm convinced he'll actually win!) - besides which he has a very decent chin, which might answer whether Wilder really hits as hard as hyped.

This card is exceptional. I wonder just how much guys like Kabayel are getting to put their 0s on the line miles down an undercard. Must be a fair amount seeing as when Whyte was pulled out lots would have taken him as an AJ opponent and he'd probably have gotten serious money for that.

Do you reckon fighters like him and Frank Sanchez might be getting 250k? Anywhere near that?

Wouldn't surprise me if everyone on this card gets at least a million each.

Wow. I suppose 250 did seem light but damn. That’s an incredible opportunity for them.

"An anomaly because he always fought the best whether he won or lost. Which is exactly what they should all do."

Pacquiao is considered a top 15 ATG by many, that’s an anomaly in itself. You’re right he fought the best, an anomaly because he was beating the best, one after another. There’s simply not that many boxers who ever boxed to keep on beating the best and keep on moving up in weight and winning world titles.

Some fighters have that unique ability to connect with the fans, others don’t. You could say Anthony Joshua is an anomaly. He lost to Ruiz, lost twice to Usyk, he’s still considered to be one of the biggest draws and the most talked about guys in the sport due to his ability to garner fan interest.

“How many of those 74000 posts are on the present right now? I said I don't have an emotional investment and I maintain a casual interest. I never said that's always been the case.”

74000 posts is 74000 posts and that's fine but lets call a spade a spade, that takes a tremendous amount of dedication. You're saying it's not in the present and you have a casual interest, if you say so.

“Ultimately this whole conversation is me not buying a PPV and you highlighting the reasons why I'm not buying it.”

The conversation started because I balked at your comment saying it shouldn’t be PPV when a lot of boxing pundits are saying it’s one of the best potential cards they’ve seen.

Then I started going into some of the financial realities in the sport of boxing at the top level which leads to the best fights dragging out and marinating, which we both agree on it seems. I view it as a reality that can’t be changed, you view it as a problem that should be changed.

Did anyone get the rumour that Opetaia may be facing Kovalev?!

I mean, I get peoples disappointments in the marquee fights not being made - but wow, we haven’t had cards like this in forever. I love all these fights.

I actually see Parker taking this on points rather comfortably. AJ vs Wallin could be interesting as Joshua might still have some reservations about southpaws following the two Usyk losses. Wallin could pull an upset here should the fight happen.

Boxing doesn't work like that, and Franklin has a chin on himself, very decent actually. It's not like Walling doesn't have a good chin as well, but AJ also doesn't need to KO him to win, and dismantle him. He can still destroys him, without KOing him.
But to be completely fair i think AJ will stops him.

To be fair if Parker chin is still there i think Parker will KO Wilder as well. Wilder has chicken legs and his chin is garbage, no matter what Fury/Wilder fanboys tells you.
On the other hand, if Parker chin is cracked, Wilder may very well KO him as well, as Parker doesn't have the best defense.

But Wilder won't fight Parker. Wilder will somehow manage to blame Parker and claims he ducks him too.
People can come and troll me if the fight actually happen, but i don't think Wilder will fight even this "uncertain" version of Parker.

I think Wilder may wait for Ruiz, as Ruiz career become a mess after AJ, and Ruiz is going down and up with his weight, not training properly, it's after a hard injury, undergo surgery, etc, etc. I think this is the opponent Wilder usually go for.

He's considered an ATG now, but when he was a draw he was still a fighter who was losing to others on occasion.

I've been on the website over a decade. I get a notification I reply to a post. I see a big fight I show interest, I see a lesser fight I lament it. Not that much dedication.

Of course fights marinating is a problem. Especially when the majority of the time they never come off. I've already told you my solution, I just don't buy below par ppv cards, especially when they don't even feature a legitmate champion facing a worthy contender. Everything else is me answering your questions.
