Parker, he's a nice guy and has never been afraid to take a tough fight, Wilder in comparison is a tool who stalled the division with his constant ducking and then showed himself to be a ***** with all his insane excuses after the losses to Fury.

The Squire's posted & called it ^ exactly as to how I feel too about this scrap.

As much as I'd luv to see AJ/Wilder, which should have happened years ago. I'm looking at the here and now, today, tonight.

And tonight, I'm rooting for Parker.

Wilder fought Fury three times. Parker got in the ring with Joshua and didn't throw a punch. The excuse rolled out is the referee, but the guy showed no aggression. He was so poor. He's also said he would never face Fury. That's a joke. The guy is getting his head knocked clean off tonight.

Best version of Parker we've seen in a while. He showed up in great shape and really put on a clinic.

    ;)I'm at peace.

I braided my hair, put on sunglasses and mispronounced words like "ecstatic" and "stupendous" all weekend ... and now I'm stoned.
    So it's all good. :eatingburger

No, actually, I watched the first part of the PPV. The last fight I saw was Dubois-Miller, which was a great fight.

Then we had to travel downstate for Christmas. I had the app on my phone but I could only listen to the audio. Sounds like the last three fights weren't nearly as exciting.

I haven't watched the Bivol, Wilder and Joshua fights yet. Listening (but not watching it) didn't make me in hurry to tune in and watch the visuals.

Anyway. Wilder had a great run.

Most heavyweight titleholders never won much of anything after age 38, which I stated earlier. So Wilder joins the list. Lots of big names on that list, too.

Sounds like once Wilder decided he didn't want to kill anyone in the ring anymore, and started crying after he knocked people out (Helenius) ... it was all over for him.

Some fighters just need that chip on their shoulder.

Wilder probably should've retired after the Helenius fight ... when Hearn and Joshua decided they needed THREE TUNEUPS before fighting Wilder and delayed that showdown all year ...

But I think the money was too enticing.

Wilder should hang them up now, though. Sounds like age and the money made him not want to lay it on the line anymore. That happens to most, usually before 38.

Having lived through Ali getting smacked around by Leon, Holmes and Berbick; Frazier stumbling around with Jumbo Cummings; watching Holyfield lose to everyone from Larry Donald to Belfort in the ring; Chris Byrd get spanked by Shaun George, it usually doesn't end well at all.

So, I'm glad he didn't finish on his back.

Still, Wilder was the hardest puncher I ever saw fight live (and I used to watch Shavers live). I saw a lot of guys go the distance with Earnie. And, unlike Shavers, Wilder had a long title run.

But, if Deontay doesn't have the fire and guys are going to start going the distance with Wilder, there's no point in fighting on.

He's just going to start losing a lot of decisions from here on out.

I don't know what Parker does now. I'd like to see him fight Hrgovic for the vacant IBF belt.

The guy I was most excited for was Dubois, who is only 26. He turned a corner (IMO) on Saturday. That's the first time I ever watched him where I was really impressed. He totally won me over. (And I was pretty down on him for a long time.)

Fury-Usyk seems anticlimactic now. They all seem old.

This division is in some dire need of a collection of 20-something-year-old contenders.

Glad to see Dubois step up.
