I know you hate Wilder, but come on... Fa was rocking Parker with jabs and rights, and he was once again, hurt a few times by Del Boy. If Whyte can hurt him, Wilder will. Could Parker grit it out, and come back to hurt Wilder late? Sure, but I doubt he has the power to stop him, or can physically impose himself like Fury did to get it.

Parker fights to the level of his opponent. Parker absolutely has the power to hurt Wilder. Are you kidding me? Fury is hardly a huge puncher.

To be fair I need to see what the Windmill has left in his next fight but based on past performances Wilder decapitates Parker who can't finish a ham sandwich.

The relevant question isn't Wilder vs Parker; it's Joyce vs Parker or Hrgovic vs Parker, either of which would result in Parker getting dominated and losing wide on the cards. If Wilder returns then I imagine he'll fight Andy Ruiz and win by brutal KO, rather than squeaking a controversial decision over Ruiz in his hometown.

Exactly. Fury isn't known for being a big puncher. He knocked out Wilder because Wilder couldn't take a punch .Also Wilder put on way too much weight and gasses him.

Parker has the power to stop Wilder. Also despite how casuals act like every time Wilder lands a right hand he knows his opponents out this isn't true. He landed numerous flush righs against Bermaine Stiverne in their first fight he walked right through it. Chris Arreola took his power well and Chris has no defense and was past his prime.

But on that same now Parker was hurt and knocked down by various guys so clearly Wilder could hurt him. Would Wilder knock out Parker though? I would pick Parker to stop Wilder more times than I would pick Wilder to stop Parker.

I wouldn't back wilder over any top 10 or 15 HW.

Sure he can knock out anyone but if his opponent brings it to him early and overwhelms him and doesn't give him the chance he loses.

Wilder only has so many wins because number 1 he's fought bums but number 2 because guys stand off him and give him the range to be knocked out.

All you have to do to beat the dosser is walk him down and let fly, he can't box for ****.

    Chisora beats wilder

Depends how shot (mentally and physically) Wilder is, since those two beatings he took against Fury definitely will have taken something out of him. Parker is still relatively fresh, and after last night he looks like he's finally got a bit of urgency in his work. That makes him dangerous.

Fight's a bit hard to predict since both guys have been a bit up and down of late, and on top of that fight with opposing styles (Parker a mid to close range slugger, Wilder a long range guy). I suspect it'll be quite a close, competitive fight that goes to the cards. Talk of Parker being brutally KOed or whatnot are nonsense. If Whyte couldn't put him down with a clean left hook on the button Wilder isn't going to.

Bit of a flash knockdown to be fair. He's only been properly dropped (as in lights temporarily put out) once in his career, by Whyte, and that was about as flush and as vicious a shot as you're ever going to see in the HW division.

This is a fair take. I don't like how heavy Parker came in last night. It didn't benefit him enough to offset the drop in stamina he suffered, and if he's down on the cards or needing a KO late in the fight his ponderous slaps and dropping into a clinch every time he exchanges aren't going to do it.

Nah, this is too extreme a swing to the other side of the scale. Wilder is definitely a top ten fighter, and while he's in the weird position of potentially being vulnerable to a number of guys outside of that, he's also got the power and the heart to beat almost anyone inside of it not named Fury or Usyk (and he came quite close with Fury). It's also not a given that anyone who takes it to him wins. Breazeale took it to him and got KOed in the first. Duhaupas also pressured him constantly and got taken out late (I'm one of the people that actually rated Duhaupas back then). Unless he's being hurt as he's being pushed back Wilder is quite good at staying springy on his feet and pivoting guys which then makes them vulnerable to his shots on the blindside.

As for Chisora, I love the guy, but he's been through too many wars now to really hang with any of the top ten. He'll give them hell and make them work every inch of the way, but unless they're having the mother of all bad nights (like Michael Hunter puking in his corner bad) then he likely loses.

Parker eazy by big KO. Wilder can't hurt Parker, and his stamina is dog..... Also Wilder punch resistance is none. He has no legs and lose his balance the moment a good shot land on his stupid ugly face!

I just think Parker lacks the urgency to not get KO'd by Wilder.

I'd have him winning the rounds but getting clipped at some point.

He looked like he was getting up before he hit the deck with that one haha. Was a great shot though.
