How do you see this fight going?

Wilder was rocked by Molina and went 9 rounds with him

What happens once Povetkin lands on Wilders chin?:nut

Wilder would not stop Wach or Takam, and the notion of him blowing out Perez is laughable.

Povetkin in brutal style after about 5 rounds. I expect Wilder to try and jab him for the first few, have some success but when Sasha rocks him with a thudding punch the end will be near.

^This. Wilder can't take what Povetkin will dish out. Glass shattered.

Your the same guys that gave Fury no chance against Wlad.

Povetkin didn't stop Wach either, the refs did. Stopping that fight in the twelfth round was pointless.

And Wilder wouldn't stop Takam or Perez based on what? Wilder stopped Firtha, who Povetkin could not stop. Their only common opponent. Which for some reason is completely and totally ignored on this board.

Just prove the only argument you really have for Wilder having no chance against Povetkin is to overblow Povetkin's opponents.

I used to favour Povetkin easily but after seeing how important the reach and the size advantages can be last saturday, It seems a lot closer. If Wilder grows a pair and starts believing in his abilities, this may very well be a 50/50 fight.

What I've been saying all along. Anyway you flush it, its just not easy to beat a guy who is six inches taller and has several inches reach on you who has Wilder's kind of power. Wilder is going to be a difficult match up for any 6'1 or 6'2 fighter. Not unwinnable mind you, but difficult. Whoever that height fights him is going to eat a lot of leather on the way in. Unless you have freakish Mike Tyson like speed to get inside.

That's why I think Fury and Joshua have a better chance of beating Wilder than Povetkin.

Don't get me wrong, not saying Povetkin can't beat him. I think he can simply because I am not sold on Wilder's chin yet, but I don't think there is enough to pronounce it glass either.

I honestly think this could be the most exciting HW match up of this decade. Wilder has height, reach, speed and maybe power, Povetkin has footwork, punching technique, stamina, experience and he's probably more durable of the two. Povetkin is my favourite heavyweight but his fans would be fooling themselves if they believe that he'll easily get inside and land his combinations, same with the Wilder fans who believe this will be just as easy as Stiverne.

It reads as tko vs Wach, just like all the Lewis lovers who crow about another tko ref stoppage. Are you in that camp? And I said he doesn't blow out Perez, I.E put him away quickly. He might well beat Perez, but none of his stoppages were against a current ranked fighter like Perez. Unless you believe Scuba Scott's dive was legit. And Pov fought Firtha 5 years ago when Firtha was still relatively fresh and not the shell of a bum that Wilder beat 2 years ago.

No, I try to look at every fight individually. And there was little reason to stop that fight with no more than a round left. So to say Povetkin stopped him is dubious at best.

The Lewis stoppage was in the sixth round, not the twelfth, and Vitali Klitschko's eye was badly damaged. He could have sustained permanent damage in six rounds. There was far less danger of that with Wach and less than a round left.
