Wilder wins, by late stoppage. It would be a tough one for Wilder for a little while though. Interesting story about Holmes - Cobb fight. . Larry beat on Tex for 15 rounds at the final bell Tex said he turned to referee Steve Crosson & said " Give me 3 more rounds & I'll be HW champ of the world" " Larry hands hurt him too much he cant hit me no more I can knock him out" Tex told me this himself A while later in Dallas I met Steve Crosson & asked him about Tex. He said " Yes he sure did & he meant it too I wish I could have given him more rounds. After the fight Larry went to hospital for Xrays on his badly swollen hands Tex went to a bar for a beer or two supped through a straw Tex said he asked Larry for a rematch Larry said NO WAY my hands couldn't take it LOL Wilder would be wise to stay away from Tex
Tex Cobb would knock Wilder out. Wilder would not be able to hurt Cobb with his best shot.....................Tye Cobb would have knocked Wilder out..................
