He would take Ruddock out. Bonecrusher almost took him out with an overhand right and Lennox Lewis did. It's kind of a sitting duck situation. And I don't recall Ruddock landing the smash on a really tall heavyweight.

Foreman also would lose. Wilder's legs are too good. Morrison, who had no legs at all, was able to get on his bicycle and win a decision. Stewart almost got the win. Foreman's successes as an old guy were against guys who stood in with him.

I mostly agree with the rest.

I think Ortiz... could beat a few of the guys from the 80's... the problem with the 80's guys was consistency and Pinky was not consistent at all....

Im thinking of the 1989 foreman rather than the 1993 foreman i think the latter was a tad sharper and hungrier.

Ruddock was laughing when Smith floored him...i wouldnt confuse the past it ruddock post tyson with the more varied athletic 1988-89 one...ruddock is just too physically strong, fast snd throws punchesxs from an angle wilder has never seen.i also dont think one or two or five of his flurries is going to be enough to put Ruddock away.

So Does Ruddock, Bruno, BoneCrusher and Lewis.

Tyson is 5-1 against that lot and even Lewis with his big uppercuts that landed clean in the 1st round still had to break him down over the course of the fight.

That just shows Lewis doesn't have the power of Wilder......

Saying 1989 Foreman was better than 1993 is too speculative for me considering who his opponents were back then.

Ruddock would have a chance, but he was always vulnerable. I'd just favor Wilder because Ruddock was really vulnerable to right hands. And Smith f-ed him up; I don't care if he was laughing.

Wilder would clean up on most of them.

He has not yet proven to be able to survive a Tyson so I like Tyson by KO....

He does have the major right hand power to take out Holmes. Weaver,Tate,Coetzee,Thomas,Dokes,Page,Tucker,Tubbs he should roll through but

not written in stone.....I want to see him fight Povetkin soon to see if he can handle effective pressure & power that Alexander can give

Joshua also talented but green so I would like to see how both of them do vs the experienced Povetkin (before A.P. gets too old)

Yes. And makes him do a dance for us first.

Career-ending beating. Washington's mediocre jab chased him right rounf the ring. Imagine Holmes.

    Fair enough
Holyfield beats the snot out of Wilder

    Ok
I'd fancy the punchers in that lineup to crack his chin. Guys like Bruno and Coetzee were not only accurate but hit haaard. Frankly I think Damiani outboxes Wilder and makes him look silly. He was a real durable heavyweight that could jab well and maul up close.

Any of those guys could clock him hard enough for the smelling salts to be needed. I wouldn't put money on him against any of them. Maybe Leon.

I can't take you seriously if you think Wilder troubles Holmes in any way and that prime Holy would go life and death with him  GTFOH ...

I can't take you seriously if you think 1988 Holyfield was prime. Should I infer that you think a shell of Dokes was better than Wilder?

Snipes had a better right hand than Wilder, right?

I guess I saw a different fight than others did. I wasn't overly impressed that a 39 year old could have someone badly hurt and conclusively winning a fight before gassing. Sure, he showed good recuperative abilities and you have to love someone getting off the floor to win and carrying his power late. However, that doesn't change that fact that he's sloppy and often times has poor technique and it too wild and open for counters. Doesn't change that a past his best fighter was beating him pretty easily for most of the fight. Yet somehow people saw a different fight and the present day incarnation of Joe Louis, Young Foreman and Young Tyson all rolled into one.

I agree with all of this except that Bruno gets stopped earlier, it would be like the first Lewis fight but Wilder`s jab is longer. Smith and Tucker may be the only two guys that could take Wilder`s punch part of the reason is they would spoil expertly the way they did v Tyson.

Dokes had quicker shorter punches than Wilder and he threw more even at that stage of his career.

Wilder would be frightened to punch because of Tyson`s hand speed, he hesitated badly vs Ortiz who was awfully slow, I think Foreman would finished Wilder when he was in trouble on the ropes with quicker punches than Ortiz, he looked like he had parkinson`s he had him right there and just couldn`t let his hands go like Hagler v Leonard except Ortiz was a a lot older than Hagler from `87 and his tits look like they needed a wonder bra!
