No I'm talking about semi-pro, which is basically pro. And if Nistor had the power and skill to KO AJ in the ams, then shouldn't he have the skill and power to KO Usyk too? And his win over Medzhidov is better than anything AJ has accomplished to date.

This is no disrespect to you, but you can't be serious. Semi pro, really...!!!??? The AMs is where you learn your trade. Some fighters are ahead of others while some need more time. When you start boxing also factors in...and the AM's are the AMs, the pros are the pros. And your hate for Joshua is showing. Usyk hasn't done **** in this sport yet to warrant such hype. Usyk hasn't beaten anyone of note yet.

See Russo-Wilder in the 2008 olympics, but over 12 rounds.

Sorry man never meant to quote your post was just a general comment, Wilder still throws them big looping shots if Usyk could keep up the pace he did with Medzhidov over 12 rounds It would be a shut out.

    :good No problem.
One is a CW and the other a HVW. We can forget what happened in the AMs. I've seen guys with big names lose in the AM's to lesser names. Floyd lost to Augie Sanchez in the AM's. That's how the AM's go. It's where you learn your trade nothing more. Being a great amateur doesn't always mean that you'll pan out. But we do learn a lil about your pedigree from the AM's.

No the World Series Of Boxing, which is no headgear, no goofy outfits, its pro without being called pro.

    Here look at the difference.

Joshua vs. Medzhidov Ams. First 15 minutes only.
    [yt]iuTHhrnWO8c[/yt]
Usyk vs. Medzhidov WSB (It's pro)
    [yt]nzVOygKI_wg[/yt]

Based on that, even you've got to admit, if you watch it, Usyk could make an impressive HW.

Perhaps the question should be would Usyk beat Povetkin?

I intended to make this thread. Really, I can see Usyk as a special one. Two or three months ago, I mentioned that his height and reach are the same as Ali's. Some purists on this forum tried to forbid this kind of posts. And, I have a great respect for Ali, and didn't want to compare their careers, of course, Ali is the greatest. I feel that Usyk is capable to become HW champion, undisputed one...He will need a good luck, and honest judges....

Do these fights count on your professional record? Because semi pro is not PRO.

I think you just pulled that comment out of your behind and exposed
yourself as never seeing Usyk fight at all. He doesn't eat any shot too
many and certainly not the right hand. Hmmm:blood

Hitting some bloke with pillows on dont count for ****, Wilder would take those bums out in 1 round. That isn't AJ, AJ has big muscles that's a skinny nerd.

Lets not forget GGG is 43-8 in am's and probably been dropped ton's of times as well.
