Can Zhang take Wilders power? That will determine the fight. If he can he will stop Wilder but expect Wilder to land first.
Zhang is all wrong for wilder, a better southpaw than Ortiz, if he moves either to the right or left, he gets demolished by emperor's heavy punches, wilder is also not dangerous on the back foot, he still gets demolished. BUMSQUAAAAAAAD
Yeah it's not a fight that makes much sense for me even as a Joyce fan. Joyce wins, he just proves again he's all wrong for Parker, Parker wins they'll say Zhang ruined him. I'd much rather Parker rematch Joshua, that's a more interesting fight for me. Plus Joshua maybe left without an opponent if Hrgovic decides to fight Dubois instead and with everyone else tied up then Joshua/Parker is the next best alternative.
Yeah if he wants to avenge his losses he'd be better off to fight Joshua (I think he'll lose again but it would likely be close-ish at least - also who knows where Joshua is at given his lack to challenging opposition for a while) or Whyte (shot Whyte should be fairly easy to beat at this stage).
Terrible fight for Wilder Zhang is as big as Fury and after a decent amateur career he has good fundamental skills, he possesses a very good chin behind a good defence, Wilder won’t be capable of moving him. Wilder has NEVER KOd a decent fighter in his whole boxing career, I see no reason why he’d do it now
Would definitely be a good test of Wilder's supposed power, as you say he's never KO'ed anyone that good or known for being durable. If Zhang walks through his right hand I'd be surprised but if it happens it would be the final nail in the coffin of his legacy.
Interesting fight. I actually find it hard to pick a winner. I don't think Wilder is anywhere near as done as people think; he just struggles against good boxers who can neutralise his right hand. I also don't think Zhang is as good as people thought before the Parker fight (I picked Parker quite heavily to beat him) and his stamina is atrocious. This could be a bit of a Sanders Rahman type of fight where Wilder hits the canvas early, rallies, draws Zhang into the middle/later rounds and then drops him when Zhang starts blowing out his arse. If Wilder wins, and if he wins it'll be by KO, you can bet all the little scrotes calling him done in the wake of the Parker fight will change their tune again and start up the whole Joshua is ducking him nonsense, so I'll be rooting for Zhang for sure. But I'm not confident in that pick.
I can't see Zhang winning if he doesn't throw a punch against Wilder. I haven't seen the Wilder - Parker fight yet but I don't believe Wilder is so shot that he will lose against the same Zhang that showed up last time.
Wilder can win if he lasts long enough where Zhang gasses like Ortiz and he lands a big one But how does he handle the constant pressure Zhang brings, and his speed on top of that murderous power. He got badly hurt by Parker and Fury i fear for Wilders life here
