The Wilder fans are making out that the so called busted eardrum changed the entire fight. I just rewatched it again and even before the first knockdown he was breathing very heavy in comparison to Fury and looked gassed. In comparison Fury at 273 lbs had plenty of energy and looked fresh throughout.

I have never seen Wilder gas like this before so quickly in a fight, he is actually regarded as having very athletic stamina which he carries through the full 12 rounds of the fight. I wonder what made the relentless jabbing, body punching, being forced on the back foot and Fury's 273 lb frame during the clinches.

That right hand had nothing in it after the second round, so much for having the ability to carry his power late.

Fury made him work and all that 273 pounds was a lot of weight.

Because Fury wrestled and drained him. His stamina would have looked much better if Fury just stod and jabbed with him for 12 rounds.

Fury sapped Wilders energy real quick by leaning on him from the opening bell. Smart move. Fury also took away that right hand which pretty much hung Wilder out to dry. Personally, I thought Fury would get knocked out if he walked Wilder down. Nice job on Fury's part.

When you're not used to or expecting pressure, being on the end of it ****ing hammers you.
