A lot of accusations get thrown at AJ on his possible use of PEDS. I too have had my say on it. Most of the legit claims (for those who know much about muscle building) come from AJ putting on over 10lbs of lean muscle in the space of 1 year and those how know anything know thats damn near impossible when you need to do a fair bit of cardio work.

However in the last 6 months Wilder has went from 212.5 lbs to 223 lbs whilst looking just as lean yet there doesnt seem to be the furor around this like there was when AJ came in much bigger.

Anyone know what the testing was for the Brezeale/Wilder fight?

Question is why is there not the same focus on Wilder that seems to be on AJ?

I noticed Wilder's belly was much less defined than before so I'm not sure it was pure muscle weight added on.

yeah its not so much how much weight he put on or indeed how muhc he can carry in muscle. But more that there was a heap of attention on AJ putting on 10lbs of muscle in a year yet when Wilder puts on the same in half the time there is no mention of it?

    You're talking a disingenuous baseline.
212 was incredibly light for him by historical standards.

223 was closer to his career average.

what do you mean by this?

I am asking why there is a lot to be said in the boxing world when AJ put on 10lbs of muscle in a year yet not a peep when Wilder puts on 11lbs in under 6 months is all. Trying to find out why?

Maybe you should be asking why he was so freakishly light 6 months ago than asking why he came back to his regular fighting weight.

Wilder has returned to a weight he used to be quite recently, he was clearly overtraining in terms of not having enough calories for the amount of expenditure. You’ve not seen him jump 30lbs of pure muscle in 4 years or so. If this trend continues then I could see why people be more suspicious and so would I be but as of now, this is just reaching.

Second of all Wilder has been using full VADA testing at least 5 of his last title defences unlike AJ who has only started using it now, and conveniently AJ has lost weight and significant muscle mass since.

    Joshua went from 229 to 241 1/2 from mid-November 2013 to February 2014. So more than 10 pounds in 2 1/2 months.

Where are you getting your numbers? Why not stick to facts?

Wilder started his career weighing 207lbs has always stated that has always struggled to put on muscle.

I know that since he signed up with VADA he has been coming in smaller than he used to, did both Wilder and Breazeale sign up to VADA for this fight...after a quick check on google i couldnt see anything?

Maybe for the Fury fight he cycled off steroids due to stricter testing???
