I've already run out of patience with him. He has too many fights under his belt to still be fighting scrubs. Stiverne shouldn't be his best opponent, when he's fought 38 times.

Don't hate on wilder....he's a pure bona fide genius!! Who else can fight 38 fights and still not have fought any top contenders and win a recognised strap and defend it 5 times? C'mon guys give 'respek' to the pure genius that is teh bronze bomber. ;-)

He wants to fight AJ, it seems AJ is only interested in Fury and Klit atm though. Parker is not interested in Wilder either, Wilder needs to take a tough fight like Ortiz to prove himself.

When is he going to fight Stiverne?

Maybe, waiting for Wlad to make his decision? If Wlad retires AJ cash out may be on the cards, but then AJ might want to take on Pulev first.

Yep he needs to show he is legit, just because you have a belt doesn't means anything other than you were in the right place at the right time, ask Charles Martin...

He needs a unification fight to make $$$$ sense...

It's a shame that the most noteworthy belt, the WBC, is in the hands of this clown

The way he pumps himself up as an all-time great, when he has fought no one yet-and he is now in his 30s and has been fighting for years

Still not one note-worthy opponent on his resume

he can't be taken as anything but a comedian

Guy is joke and fraud. I hate using that term but I am disgusted by the amount of coverage and hype he gets from showtime, espn (dan Rafael), and others it's so absurd how they turn a blind eye to prop his career up. Showtime' coverage is laughable it's right out of the wwf, not one of the million things this guy does wrong in a fight is ever mentioned. Nor the level of opposition he faces. They just drool over his overrated right hand.
This guy was supposed to step up 2 plus years ago.
Again 1 top 10 opponent Stiverne. In nearly 40 fights with a fighter who is nearly 32 years old. He is a protected fraud. Not one of his 5 voluntaries was a top 10 opponent. Disgraceful run of defenses.

Actually Stiverne is not a top ten fighter, WBC made him mandatory for no reason, Stiverne is old, out of shape, fat, inactive, anyone notice how afraid of Povetkin Wilder is and was? WBC protecting Wilder......................Wilder said he wanted to fight Joshua, well, he has zero chance against Joshua, or Vlad.....................

When will the WBC rank Sconiers as Wilder's mandatory? I have lost patience with Wilder a long time ago and for good reason. Five voluntary title fights in a row against Winos from the alley.................he does not fool me, nor does he fool the majority of fight fans........................Wilder is a fraud........................WBC will alway protect him.....................

Can't make out that he has never had any better options. Everyone manages to get a decent level opponent but this guy in boxing. In 38 fights to have fought nobody is a disgrace, indefensible. There is no way opn earth that his 5 Voluntary Defences were aginst the very best opponents he could get. Its the opposite, he fought the worst opponents he could get and to be honest looked terrible doing it.

I pretty much gave up on him after the Liakhovich fight. He'd finally stepped up a level in fighting a former WBO title holder and then fought Firtha, was clear to me then he was happy to remain protected. Then he beat Stiverne and I had a little hope he'd finally step up but everything since then just confirmed what I thought after the Liakhovich fight.

I think people are already over him, after he won his title there was some hype around him but it's returned back to normal after continuous disappointments in his opponent selection.

Now, I'm not saying it will ever happen, but it would be absolutely hilarious if Wilder goes on to KO all the top guys to become the No. 1. This thread will live in infamy. Lol.
