Regardless of whether you think the majority of that list is not any better than the names on his resume currently he should be fighting them. The quality of the division is bad enough outside the genuine top HW's, nevermind finding guys not even in the top 10, regardless of perceived ability they are ranked in the top 10 and he as champion should be doing more to at least try and get them.

Apologies, i presumed you were a fan, to be honest i want to be able to be a fan of Wilder - he has obviously limitations which make him vulnerable but he has the capacity to end a fight at any point, its an exciting trait and if he was fighting legit contenders i would quite enjoy watching him. Its difficult to get excited when you see he is 37 fights into a career and picks Washington as his 38th fight and 5th voluntary defence running.

Mansour beat Washington 7-3 easily imo.

Washington has NO stamina and very little power. Sure Washington may outbox Breazeale for 4/5 rounds but from then onwards Breazeale would take over and stop him.

Wasnt aware Brezeale had offered - in that case i agree he should have defended against him.

Wilder was going to fight a bum regardless of the late replacement (Washington still had 4 weeks to prepare).

Parker had 2 weeks to find an opponent willing to step up.

There are guys on the Ring top 10 list who are showing little interest in fighting him. It takes two parties to make a fight come together.
Ask yourself who are all theses other guys who want to fight him?

Wilder offers to fight top contenders on social media... I dare bet there isn't any legit offers to their promoters.

Aside from making stupid videos calling them all out he seems to do very little in the way of actually trying to fight them as far as i can see. I may be wrong, and if i am i will hold my hands up and admit that.

However it seems to be the general consensus on here that Wilder should have stepped up long ago, theres surely a reason for that.

There's nothing stupid about it. He's putting a challenge out there to guys in front of the world and that puts pressure on them to take up his offer.
He isn't the first guy to this this. This is how fights have gotten made for as long as ive been watching the sport.

It is stupid when you have no genuine intentions of actually fighting them.
If he had any aspirations of fighting the best im sure over 38 fights he could have done more, thats all im saying.

He is 100% genuine about wanting to fight Joseph Parker. When Parker takes him on his offer and Wilder backs out you have a case , but the ball is currently in Parkers court and Parker has clearly lost his racket.

Why don't you call out Parker for having no intention of fighting Wilder??
This is the sort of baseless , fabricated hate for Wilder i see on a daily basis.

I've not really run out of patience but I have lowered my standards accordingly. I accept that Wilder isn't a top level guy, or his team doesn't consider him to be such, and that any defences in the future will reflect that.

I ran out of patience with his fans years ago.

I'm not sure if Parker has received a legit offer or not (other than Wilder on social media.... tbf Wilder is ducking me as I called him out loads....).

Also, Wilder has a mandatory to get out of the way next against the somehow ranked #1 WBC contender.....Stirverne....

Just a comment about Washington. For a last minute replacement Washington was actually not half bad, and certainly a major step up from Wawrzcyk and Arreola. In terms of standing he's on a very similar level to Breazeale, whom not too many people had a problem with Joshua fighting. Breazeale has a bit more power, is a bit tougher, and has a bit more heart, Washington has the better overall skillset. Their records are almost identical. Certainly there's nothing to indicate that one is levels above the other at this point.

So you have the Povetkin example and now Parker out of his career.
    Two top guys.
I dont know Parkers mindeset etc, but the money fight as far as i can see is Bellew/Whyte (who have also called him out) on the undercard of AJ's next defence in the UK.
Will set up the winner to fight AJ in another huge event.

Like i said, im not saying i hate Wilder or anything, i want to be able to like him, he has qualities that make him exciting. But he is either the most unlucky boxer in history and can never land a top fight, or he doenst want most of the top fights.
