Whyte isn’t a punch magnet but I just believe against wilder you need to be very good at not making mistakes or have enough power to counter that and I personally believe Whyte falls just short of both. I’d be happy to be proven wrong but as I say, wilder at 1/2 is a great price i think. All opinions.
I fully respect that, and hence I see it as 50/50 but I trust in Whyte's team to come up with a gameplan to succeed over Wilder. Wilder hasn't fought anyone half as dangerous as Whyte and that is my genuine, educated opinion taking into consideration dozens of factors.
I wouldnt even put any money this fight even happening. These PBC fighters have proven time and time again if they want to duck somebody they will. Just they use other terms like freezing out and crossing streets.
Eddies put some decent pressure on the WBC to make this fight. Something came out before about there being a judgement that Whyte’s team weren’t happy with and the WBC changed their mind on it and he’s now mandatory. I think it happens next summer, if wilder beats fury.
Wilder within 3 is the most likely outcome. Whyte is easy to hit and doesn't do well against taller opponents. That right hand will break his jaw.
Unfortunately whyte is far too open and hittable, I can see wilder unloading early and stopping him. I still don’t think this fight ever happens though, I believe we’ll have wilder vs fury and then a unification instead. Meanwhile whyte can fight miller or Kownacki
Whyte has chin issues...not being sarcastic or trolling, I don't see how he makes it through a Wilder fight. He seemed to protect pretty well with that high guard but Rivas was 6ft, Wilder is 6ft7...big difference in reach and hand speed, I think he gets knocked out.
Okay, so because he did it once, in one of the knockdowns, in one fight, he is known for it? Okay children, carry on. Meanwhile: This content is protected
@Sammy123 @Southpawswitch No worries, you joined the conversation and I replied back to the group now Sammy boy started this **** lets see his reply... one instance in one fight does make someone renowned or good at something
Wilder knows it’s a dangerous fight After watching AJ gets sparked by Ortiz he knows to be cautious not to be upset his retirement package
It's an aggressive world, if everyone was more humble, more benevolent, more GIVING of credit where it is due, the world and forum would be so peaceful.
