Was AJ in the process of being shut out by Takam and looking completely hopeless in large stretches? Or did he win almost every single round prior to get the stoppage even if slightly premature? Chisora, supposedly past peak, and faded... absorbed punishment and KOd TAKAM CLEANLY, had him down TWICE, with the SAME punch, SAME TECHNIQUE.... Whereas AJ was winning, on top of things, LONG, RANGY, TALL... Alll the advantaged... why couldn't he KO a guy that wasn't putting up much opposition then??????

Spilka... took 9 rounds off Wilder, 4 rounds off Kownacki, and yet FADED CHISORA did him in two rounds.... luck again????? REALLY!

More impressive to KO a guy who is pummelling you, rather than you pummeling a guy that you can't even KO when you are a supposed SUPER 6 FOOT 6 POWER PUNCHER....

The key problem is you have no clue what prime means, Chisora was getting beaten technically by Takam, he struggles against boxers, as a fighter though, which is what he always was... he is still pretty much there and in shape.

So just let it go, because he is tough fighter that has taken rounds off many world class opponents and contenders, and has ONLY BEEN KO'd ONCE. In his LIFE. ONCE.

I was talking about Szpilka not Takam. I wouldn't call Takam glass chinned but he's certainly not granite chinned either.

Ok. Let's not bring something up that generally the vast majority of fans agree with and not a Whyte fan who is denying the obvious out of proxy support for his man crush.

AJ couldn't KO takam and certainly tried for 11 rounds, he really did, so why would he be able to do Chisora? Whyte floored Parker, again AJ couldn't floor parker, I mean you have 12 rounds against someone who isn't a known puncher, you'd think you would have caught him or tried at least in 36 minutes of fighting. It's not like Whyte was any taller or rangier than AJ.

But hey these are all facts, when someone asks was Parker ever floored or was Chisora ever KOd, there will be one man, who is apparently a bum, whose name is spoken aloud.

 

Didn't Joshua stop Whyte? Might be wrong but I'm pretty sure he did. Also a 41 year old Klitschko coming off a long layoff gave Joshua a far tougher fight than Whyte and Ruiz Jr. beat him. You seem to like facts so hold on to those while you're at it.

 

I accept those facts. Whyte also lost 4 years ago, and a lot has changed since.

Like what? Whyte is still Whyte. He hasn't improved at least not drastically enough to suggest a rematch would go any differently.

 

See that opinion of yours "Whyte hasn't improved much" is the least popular opinion here.

Whyte is the most improved heavyweight that exists right now, and this is the popular opinion on the forum, and off boxing anaysts, and anyone that has been following the sport with a brain.

So I'll have to strongly disagree with your suggestion that Whyte has barely improved and "is the same". You keep that opinion though, we will use it again when AJ rematches Whyte.

 

Based on? I don't see it. He's gained more experience but there's nothing to suggest that a rematch with AJ would go any differently. Still too easy to hit and hurt. Any improvements Whyte may have made are subtle and wouldn't have much impact on a potential rematch with AJ. I'll keep that view.

 

Based on Whytes mediocre recent performances, and Ortiz at least looking better in his.
