I've always said from day one hes the best heavyweight in the world. Since the Klitschko era finished I said hes the best. I made comparisons with him and Lennox Lewis. Lewis was very similar early in his career and like I believe Wilder has came and will continue to came into his own as he career progressed. Lewis had much more amateur experience in his early career and that also explains why it took Wilder more pro fights to come into his own. He really looked like hes reached his potential now, he looked incredible against Stiverne this weekend. Stiverne is NOT one of the top 5 heavyweights and probably not top 10 heavyweights in the world atm but still hes not the kinda guy who'd expect anyone to blow out like that.

Wilder's career has been planned perfectly if you ask me. Every fight happened at the perfect time and he clearly he has been willing and I believe ready to take on the best (Povetkin, Ortiz) but they screwed up those opportunities not him. He would've beat both of them I believe and I look forward to him fighting Joshua. Joshua is awesome I'm a huge fan but I'm confident Wilder will beat him when they face each other. It'll be an epic fight when it happens, Joshua fight with Klitschko was epic, Wilder hasn't had his chance to shine like that yet.

I consider Wilder the real heavyweight champ, hes had the most defenses and like I said I'm predicting right now he'll beat Joshua and be considered the best of this era. My predictions are often true but sometimes incorrect but I'm very confident on this and have been for a while. Talent makes a huge difference, mentality also and I believe Wilder has what it takes to be a top 10 heavyweight, time will tell...

Ever since he came back to win after being knocked down by Nichols' check jab he was always destined for greatness

Arguably he already is. He's in the top 15 all time of success hw title fights. His resume is absolutely horrible compared to the other top 15, so that's not as good as it seems. Buts I'd still put him in the top 50 all time for what he's achieved.

We must be talking about a different Deontay Wilder. The one i've seen has a resume of obese/shot/sh*t fighters and has displayed very little technical ability and has got through most fights based on his good power combined with his opponents' lack of basic fitness/ability.

He's as far from being an ATG as Donald Trump is from being a good president.

He won't even be an ATG in Alabama.

ATG at studiously avoiding threats to his paper belt - and getting away with it.

You need to be the number one guy to be a ATG. Wilder is just a contender ranked behind Joshua and Povetkin.
Fury too if he was still fighting.

    "Time will tell"

    Time has told...

    32 years old

    39 bums

KO's a total bum he already beat then acts like he is deserving of the world...and that total bum was mean't to be half decent when he beat him for a belt 2 years earlier but it turns out no he is just a total fat bum.

Massive IF if you ask me.

Wow so you’d put him in a group with Riddick Bowe,Lennox,Holyfield,Tyson,Wlad,Vitali ect cause right now there’s no HW who could sit and n that company.
You do realise after he won the belt this fraud and his team said they be staying clear of Wlad, real champion mentality right?

That remains to be seen. I think if he can somehow beat Joshua, Parker and the rest of the solid contenders In the division it could be arguable.
