Deontay Wilder is one of those fighters who fights to the level of his opponent. This trait is probably due to his still inexperience in the ring at this championship level, but for boxing fans, it has provided us with many exciting rounds because against lower level opponents, he has looked venerable.

Of his last four fights the one that shows the real Deontay Wilder is the championship fight against Stiverne where Wilder displayed the skill set of a natural champion by maintaining distance, using a fast, stiff jab and landing straight and accurate powerful right hand.

This is the Wilder we expect to see in Moscow against Poverkin. A tall rangy boxer using his superior jab to keep his opponent at the end of his punches and using his superior speed to fire of 5-8 punch combinations.

I believe that Stiverne and Povetkin are pretty even in boxing skills, and both of them are a level beneath WIlder. The real question in the upcoming fight will be if Povetkin can take as much punishment as Stiverne and if he loses by KO or decision.

and Oh yeah, Wilder had best not to drink the water in Russia or eat the food. Stick with the stuff they take with them and politely decline all the offers of drinks and tasting that are sure to come his way in Russia.

We already know Wilder has a chin of diamond.

The only question is if Povetkin's chin is as good as Stiverne's.

We don't know that since he didn't fight any good opponents yet. His record is full of mediocre fighters.

You comparing Stiverne to Povetkin? Guy who was dropped by Rossy and got KTFO by Demetree King. LMAO. Povetkin is much more skillful and athletic than Stiverne.

Wilder doesn't have a superior jab.

Compared to Povetkin, of course he does.
Wilder's jab beats Povetkin's in every measurable parameter., frequency, speed, power, variety. In every way.

Wilder will do a Liakhovich on Povetkin, leaving him twitching on the canvas.

I rate Stiverne as highly as you rate Povetkin. They actually has very similar styles that Wilder has shown to be able to exploit.
Did you hear Povetkin's trainer's strategy, to stay out of range of Wilder's jabs and right hand? It ain't going to work. Povetkin's movement is like a mummy and he can't get away from Wilder's shots.

There is zero doubt that Povetkin is juicing. This is why his manager refused to fight in the US and insisted on Russia where the chances of his being caught are far less.
