Poor choice for a comeback opponent. He could’ve picked a Hughie Fury, a Michael Hunter, or someone unlikely to hurt him.
He needs to retire. Just these last four fights.. all those shots to the temple.. it's too late already. It's going to kick him hard.. in about five years, then he'll really feel it and know it.
I mean if his smart with it he should be able to live comfortably for the rest of his life along with all his family
Wilder wont retire for money. For his collegues is already retired. Hes done and his body's completely falling in pieces.
Exactly. Even though he lost badly to both Parker and Zhang I respect him taking the risk unlike some other heavyweights out there...
He should carry on. He didn't get a proper send off last night because the ref prematurely stopped the fight.
Wilder, having been exposed multiple times now, should retire and enjoy his money. For over a decade he managed, through a sophisticated and dedicated regime of ducking, lying, and beating up middle aged cab drivers with bad hips, to attain and hold onto the prestigious WBC crown and avoid almost everyone of note...until he (sort of) didn't, at which point he was exposed multiple times. I suspect he'll find it difficult to accept losing in such a brutal and definitive fashion - and being a delusional narcissist he will almost certainly want some kind of redemption, to go out on a win. Therefore, I expect him to carry on.
That's the only risk he's ever taken...lol. He only faced Fury the first time because he thought he was a bloated, mentally shot version of his former self. His career is epitomised by NOT taking any risks and avoiding losing at all costs. He never, ever wanted to face Joshua and the fact he was champion for as long as he was and that fight never happened is proof of his complete lack of ambition.
Parker and Zhang consecutively was a big risk, especially seeing as after the Helenius fight He had a potential cashout in the AJ fights. He should get credit for that at least.
