Wilder would be a fool not to take any amount of free money. He could fight another cream puff and delay the inevitable which is his Glass Jaw getting shattered by Stiverne or Wlad. So he isn't willing to get a free check + a fight against another tomato can where he can earn a paycheck and wait to see who wins between Wlad and Stiverne and fight for more money? :patsch

According to the WBC, he has to fight back to back mandos.

Well with the Jennings-Perez fight pushed back it is going to be a while so it clearly opens the door for Wlad at worst to fight the Stiverne-Wilder winner if that happens first and provided Wlad beats Pulev.

To me there is just too much talk out there for Wlad-Stiverne not to happen next. King has been saying they are free to fight who they wish etc.

There is ZERO money in a Stiverne-Wilder fight for either party.

He's not getting $10 million unless King knows he has a solid shot of beating Stiverne. Stiverne-Wilder is most likely going to happen and I'm expecting Stiverne to win this unless he gets caught by something crazy early. Got to give Wilder credit for sticking to his next fight, many people said he wants none of decent heavyweights and he's aiming for a dangerous one next.

If Wlad wants that title bad enough, he will shell out 7 figures.

Stiverne knows and Wilder knows there is big money for them in a Klitschko fight. The purses for a Stiverne-Wilder fight would be about what they were last week for Stiverne-Arreloa. Taking this fight first would eliminate one of them from a Klitschko fight. Wilder taking step aside money ALLOWS both of them to potentially fight Klitschko provided he beats Stiverne plus Wilder would get a check for sitting on his couch and doing nothing.

Boxing is a business and Don King knows that. There is no doubt he is cooking up something.

When Vitali won back the WBC belt, they forced him to fight JC Gomez immediately. Stiverne should clear his mandatory as well unless he's unifying.

That would explain why Stiverne would rather fight Wlad. However, Wilder wants his title shot, and the head of the WBC says he's next in line.

$10 million is 8 figures. Anyway, Wlad will not pay him any sort of step aside money. That title isn't going anywhere. He can fight for it later if he can't get a shot now.

Wilder knows he will never get a belt if he steps aside. Instead Wlad will grab the belt and whoop the **** out of Wilder

    gee, how convenient
and you will see what happens to him when he fights a top 25 guy, he will get knocked the fuc.k out. might have been a good idea to fight a few top 25s first dont you think? never has there been a heavyweight challenger ranked this high without beating anyone in the top 25..... pathetic :patsch

With Don King involved I think I will wait and see. Not so sure Wilder will be next in line at the end of the day.

If he gets knocked out, then that's his problem. However, he is the mandatory challenger and he seems intent on enforcing his status.

Don King doesn't have the influence that he used to have. Wilder's advisor is actually much more influential. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
