Those questions don't arise from his words, he's often talking about how he will fight anyone and is the 'baddest man on the planet'. The scepticism arises from the difference between what he says and what does.

    He says he'll fight anyone.

    He's fought 40 times.

Being charitable there are 2 relatively high ranked opponents on his resume. One of them Stiverne, who wasn't really that good and the other Ortiz who had question marks over age, poor recent performances and possible decline following his failed drug tests.

The rest of them are a parade of journeymen, second and third raters, usually sharing an Al Haymon link-up. There is no-one else there who has troubled the top ranks of the division. This from a guy that's in his tenth year as a pro and has 8 title defences.

So, no question about what he says, but there are legitimate sources for skepticism about what he actually does.

Are you stupid or something? Are you saying that Povetkin, Ortiz and Andrzej Wawrzyk didn't test positive for PED?

He wants to be the top heavyweight but doesn't turn up to the biggest heavyweight fight of the year.

IBF, WBO, WBA, IBO champ/s all there.

IBF No#1 and No#2 there aswell.

That isn't even discussing the fact that all the money in the sport at the minute (Outside Canelo and Mexican fans) comes from Europe, and more specifically, the UK.

This exactly why I say 90% of Wilder's critics have no credibility.
Wilder was planning to be at Joshua/Parker in hopes of confronting Joshua in the ring after the fight to help sell the fight but Joshua and Eddie Hearn had other plans. The BANNED Wilder from coming inside the ring. Why have Wilder come all the way to Wales and not have him and Joshua face to face in front of 80,000 fans and millions watching around the globe.
What Eddie was planning was to have Dillian Whyte sneak in on Wilder and create a seen to take public attention from potential of Wilder vs Joshua. Wilder intersected their plan and told Eddie Hearn that he's not going to be his useful idiot.
By the way I give zero ****s about what country has the biggest fanbase or where the fights takes place. You guys in the U.K. have an inferiority complex America and are always trying to show the U.S. fans that you're on their level as if anyone is fighting over bragging rights with you. The U.S. is the biggest boxing market in the world with the highest purchasing power....you can argue with this fact all you want but the truth is what it is. Majority of the world top boxers fight out the U.S. and not the U.K. for a reason that's obvious. If you want to bicker and argue over it FACT, that' your business.

Can't ignore the backbeat of Hearn wanting Matchroom to get a foothold in the US market. It's more than a fight contract that's being battled over here. It's a territorial dispute too...

Well Wilder can just go fight someone else then.

AJ will still be making huge money win or lose.

Wilder will be able to earn more as well elsewhere.

Maybe give Ortiz a payday given how close he was to a win..

He came to reality when Parkers 11 MIL purse was made public.

He's surely gotta build on that with his higher profile.

Continue pretending Wilder has only ever said he wanted to come to the UK, continue pretending that he wasn't spouting unintelligible nonsense in the past. I'm sure you'll try and tell me that he didn't say he wanted a death on his record too.

Wilder is a liar with diarrhea of the mouth! He does not want to fight Joshua! Wilder will fight Breazeale next, Breazeale is owned by Haymon, has been knocked out by Joshua, can't fight at all. Joshua will fight Povetkin or Miller, but there is a report of a Vlad rematch..............
