This was the same man that was supposedly going to Russia to fight Povetkin and then disappeared in a flash back to Bama

I'm a big critic of Wilder but I have to say he's saying the right things. Joshua doesn't want the fight in the US for any amount of money which means it was always Wilder who had to compromise, it will just come down to Hearn and Joshua paying enough to secure the fight now.

Hearn and Joshua have made a big fuss about the fight having to be in the UK, well now they have to pay for that privilege. Joshua maybe the A side but they can't use money as an excuse anymore if they are willing to turn down more money in the US. They can't have it all their own way, time to pay the man to make the fight in the UK, no more bull****.

Couldn't agree more. They gotta be fair to wilder now after turning down that 50 mill and getting him to fight in the UK. I think he deserves a solid percentage, no flat fees. I see a rematch clause or 2 fight deal too.

I've also criticized Wilder and will continue to do so but look the reality is this: With his stupid + awkward style he can always win by fluke knockout, against anyone. He always has this odd 20% chance of windmilling himself to victory even after losing 90% of all rounds.

AJ will be a big favorite but Wilder is always a live underdog. This should be a fun fight while it lasts.

Not a good idea. Once the devastating bronze bomber puts a beating on the bodybuilder the hell will break loose. 90000 angry britards in the same contained place. Jesus.

    LOL

I think this is about right

Wilder has a shot, but I see it as a very long shot.

His windmill is funny enough as an adjective. But, as you said, “windmilling” has to be the most hilarious verb in all of boxing terminology

    LOL

I hope this fight happens. Fingers crossed, but not counting on it

If Joshua thought Wilder’s only chance would be a long-shot punch, he’d take the $50M and not run and hide after his demands were met.

He clearly sees something in Wilder that you don’t. Actions speak louder than words.

I hope he does as it’s a huge pay day and Joshua cannot back down from that, like when Spence came to Brooks backyard, like Spence he’ll get loads of credit if he does that.

To be honest I think this fight should be in Vegas anyway, just Lennox said about Joshua that he should want to go to Vegas for his legacy.
The problem I have with the U.K. is that in such a big historic fight I need to believe what I’m watching is gonna be fair to both fighters equally.
That’s means no A side bs,no Refs who break up fighting and allow punching,no loose tape psy op tricks from AJ when he needs a rest(that trick really bugs me)and judges with good records chosen by both teams.

I don’t think that’s too much to ask, same thing most of us want with the Canelo v Golovkin rematch but there’s some CAnelo fans who want call the A side BS out when they see it,it’s a cancer on boxing and AJ and Canelo are the ones who could end Mayweathers influence on boxing as neither guy needs any odds in their favour.

Honestly until I see them both walk in to the same ring with their boxing gear on I will believe the fight is happening..
