Anything Arreola can do, Stiverne can do but better.

Arreola is tailor made for Wilder, plodder, slow, short...

PRIME Chris Arreola failed EVERYTIME he's stepped up beyond American domestic class. He got his ass paddled by CW Tommy Adamek for goodness sake. Adamek had about as much right of being up at HW as Miley Cyrus does of having a statue of her likeness erected in the Vatican. Arreola couldn't hack it up at Euro Class even when he was in his prime and firing on all cylinders. He failed miserably when he tried to step above Brian ''Minty'' Minto and Seth Mitchell class and he's been on the downward slope for 3 or 4 years. He was past his best before he fought Stiverne and he's all but shot now.

Three fights prior to facing Stiverne Arreola was hurt by an out of shape 40 year old Friday Ahunanya. This was Arreola's 35th fight, by way of contrast Alexander Povetkin whooped Ahunanya in only his 7th pro fight.

And Two fights later (in his fight prior to facing Stiverne) Arreola was hurt by Captain Club Fighter Eric Molina.

I'm not saying I think Arreola would win, but I 100% believe he matches up style-wise much better against Wilder than Stiverne does. Although, in fairness, I missed Arreola's last fight or 2, and I heard he's looked abysmal of late.

Still, based on styles, he would have a better chance and more chances per minute to get to Wilder than Stiverne would. But on the flipside, that would enable WIlder to possibly get to him more quickly, too.

Not really... Stiverne fights mostly on the backfoot, so he doesn't offer much in the way of pressure... Arreola is much better at taking the fight to his opponent, i.e applying pressure.

Wilder fought on the backfoot against Stiverne and still won.

For some reason when I read the name of the thread I thought it said Chris Algeri.

Arreola has as much power as Nichols, I think, but Arreola is good for 5-6 rounds unlike Worm. He rocks and drops Wilder heavily

All it takes is one punch and Arreola does have power......................Arreola would have a real puncher's chance and if given time, he would train for that fight. Wilder chickened out of the fight with Arreola and will not fight a true bum....................just read that Wilder will never fight Povetkin or Vlad......................Wilder does not have to go by the WBC rules...............

Wilder fought Stiverne, who beat Arreola twice. Stiverne even bloodied Arreola's face, so why would Wilder be afraid of Arreola?

If only boxing worked like that...

Arreola is more of a come forward style than Stiverne so Wilders's jab avoid style against Stiverne wouldn't work as well.

Stiverne was a great match up for Wilder.
