Even if he retires in 2020 with a 50-0 , 49 ko,s , most people here on esb will stil say he was only a mediocre heavyweight at best

If he continues to fight tomato cans, yes.

If he beats a legit top-10 heavyweight like Povetkin, I will give him all the respect he deserves.

There's no blueprint to beat Deontay Wilder. He's just one of a kind. Unbeatable.

Of course. The issue with Wilder is that he is supposedly a champion of some sort and has never faced a legitimate top ten guy.

If he knocked out Povetkin, he would get all the respect in the world.

The problem for him is, Povetkin is going to knock him out and he knows is. He is manifestly garbage with his clumsy punches, lack of defense, overrated power and less than world class chin. His team know it, which is why he only fights cripples.

Never face a legitimate top ten guy , Stiverne was rated top 3 by ring(6th now), and top 5 on boxrec at that time. I guess you're more credible than ring+boxrec right . Scott is ranked 8th on boxrec now too.

Antonio Tarver is also ranked in the top 10 of boxrec, doesn't mean anything. Scott took a dive. Who has Stiverne beaten thusfar? Twice a shot Arreola. The guy lost to Demetrice King, drew with a 1-20 boxer and got dropped in the first round by feather fisted Dereck Rossy.

He hasn't fought anyone yet in the top-10, a disgrace for a paper champ like him.

I will give him a lot of credit.

He has a win over Stiverne, which is a decent win but let's not kid ourselves and say it's a 'good' win. Stiverne had no right being near a title shot

Wilder knocks Povetkin out silly. There's a reason Povetkin decided to fight a retired boxer instead of enforcing his mando . Out of curiousity, who was in your top 10 in 2015 january before Wilder fought Stiverne . Let's see all these great resumes, and HOF HWs that deserved that spot.

There is a reason why Wilder fought 3 nobodies after the Stiverne fight. He is hiding a glass jaw and he knows Povetkin will smash it son.

Wilder was getting outboxed by the limited, glass jawed Artuz Szpilka ffs

Povetkin KTFO Wilder, bank on it, little boy :smoke

3 nobodies? You mean a guy who came off beating Charr which is a better win than the majority of top 15 HW and basically on par or better than any win a GGG opponent has had .

Outboxed :lol:, ydksab, or how to score afight that's why you have 75 v cash. If you call outboxing throwing more punches but landing less, and not landing cleanly at all outboxing, then sure. He outboxed Wilder :lol:.
