Does anyone else feel his career is over?
He is 35 years old now too late to learn how to box.
He took a hell of a beating in the last Fury fight, he got schooled in the first Fury fight so effectively Fury has shown Wilder he can beat him anyway he wants.
Fury has also shown that if you stick it on him he dosn't know what to do as he carn't fight on the back foot at all, so anyone at elite level will now just stick it on him and knock him out.
Fury will not pay him 10 million to step aside when he knows he has an easy big payday against him.
I wouldn't even give Wilder a punches chance in the 3rd fight as Tyson has shown he can take Wilders best.
Wilder should just go back to fighting chumps like Charles Martin, Adam Kownacki and Andy Ruiz.

    Yeah I agree

It's weird, the dude is 35 and clearly relies heavily on reflexes and athleticism but people are talking about him "going back to basics" and "rebuilding"

The dude is at the tail end of his physical prime and the division now is filling up as opposed to emptying out when he won his WBC

I don't expect to see him fight more than 1-2 more times, I don't think his ego will allow him to take on guys who are seen as up and comers, he wouldn't be able to handle potentially losing to a Dubois or a Hrgovic and having what's left of his reputation shattered, he likely retires after Fury 3 and says "well I only lost to the best"

Nah, there’s some big fights out there for him, if he’s willing to take them, and they’re willing to fight him.

Not everyone is going to be capable of doing what Fury did

Its near the end but his next step will really give us a good idea of that final path

That's like saying Joe Louis' career was over after Schmeling, or Lewis' career was over after McCall. Exactly the opposite.

Wilder has a right hand so close to the equal of Earnie Shavers. He also does have a generally good chin. I personally think both Joshua and Fury have reason to fear him...any heavyweight today does.

Wilder should be imprisoned for slowing the roll of the heavyweight division the last several years.

Fight the best or keep your mouth shut.

That said I hope he doesn’t quit, lol

He is 34/35, so he's not going to get any better. Other thing is motivation, dude has made big money from Fury already.

This. His career isn’t over because of just one loss. Guys have taken much worse beatings than Wilder took and bounced back.

It a depends on if Wilder is willing to swallow his pride and listen to Breland for once even though I know he’s always hated Breland with a passion.

If he listens to Breland and makes the necessary adjustments he has a good chance of beating Fury and winning his title back, since Wilder really beat himself in that rematch by doing his own thing. Fury was smart and listened to his team to have more success in the rematch, so now Wilder needs to do the same in the third fight.

it matters.. the thing about fighting Wilder is he hits so hard that he has 36 minutes to land that right on anyone. That is a tough thing, even if he is not the most skilled. He is still fast and it only takes one punch.

He's fighting for a world title next, so I don't think so.

Assuming he loses again though, he's in a tricky position. I don't think anyone is going to be keen to fight him when he isn't holding a belt.

Fury has reason to fear him?

    Are you joking?

Fury literally just beat him down in one of the most one sided fights you will ever see, he absolutely DESTROYED him, Easily, yet he has "reason to fear him"?

    Come off it

"yeah mayne, I got 36 minutes I oly gotta land one punch mayne"

Yeah that myth has been disproved as Fury took his ass out in 21 minutes and next time he will do it a lot quicker than that

He also landed the right in round 1 and it didn't do **** to a Fury who was actually healthy

    Jesus christ

    "Wilder beat himself"

You guys are so dilusional it's unreal

All the excuses after robbing a fat, out of shape, rusty Fury in the first fight, and now the excuses after a sharpened up Fury beat the **** out of him and made him bleed brain juice

Whatll it be when Fury literally almost kills him in the third fight?

"yeah mayne, Fury just got lucky yo, Deontay will get it right next time"

    Wilder fans are a DISGRACE

You hit on 2 topics that I spoke on before. Can he learn at this stage and can his ego allow him to be taught. The worse thing that could happen is, being taught something, then facing Fury right away and getting his ass handed to him again. His confidence and trust would be gone for sure. That would be the end.

He’s in a pretty good position even with the loss, he could step aside and fight the AJ vs Fury winner, win the rematch (potentially) or even if he loses the rematch he could rebuild by fighting someone like Ruiz.
