How do you rate Wilder's chin?

I think it's weak. He was rocked by Molina, Ortiz, and dropped by Fury twice, who isn't known as a puncher.

Horrible chin which makes him lose his brain function and stability but damn hard to knock out cold.

It's a decent chin and it's not one of his weaknesses. But when you're being beaten up like he was tonight you're gonna go down at some point.

This fight was less about his chin and more about his inability to fight on the back foot.

It's not as bad as people would have you believe or he would of been getting dropped all the time by the guys he came up against before this fight who were largely non-punchers.

This said it's clearly not iron which is the reason they avoided punchers in the first place and why Tyson Fury a man hardly renowned for his punching power was able to force a TKO.

...or what to do when in trouble, his corners advice was really useless, keep going forwards ? he did ,he went down hence Wilders confusion...he suddenly realised his skillset or their advice was not on the Fury camp level at all!

Its not complete china like some would have had you believe earlier on in his career. He's taken shot off of Fury and Ortiz and still stayed conscious.

I wouldn't classify it as good either though, any big puncher could blast him out if they land cleanly and solid punchers like Fury will always trouble him if they land.

But as others have said his chin wasn't the issue, his inability to fight more than one way was the difference. Fury figured him out and showed him something else and he had no way to adapt, he didn't have the skill set and his corner was no help and even if he had Manny Steward in his corner it wouldn't of made a difference he doesn't value anything other than power, he's said so himself and Breland has confirmed this to his frustration.

The thing is how do you advise a man that has refused to listen to you for his entire career?

Mark Breland knows how to box. Wilder does not despite having him in his camp for years. How does that happen? When you're an egotistical puncher who thinks he's hacked boxing and there is nothing else for him to learn.

It's alright. He can get rocked and hurt, but his knockout power and will to win generally gets him back in the fight.

Worst than his chin is his LEGS. He was Bambi legged for most of the fight.
The man needs to seriously do some squats and deadlifts.

I will predict now that Joshua will not last 7 rounds with Fury.

Maybe the next time they lead the donkey to water , this time it might drink the Breland Aid!
It sounded after the fight as though Breland & J were not in agreement over the towel ...so maybe there have been other issues as well ?

Breland is likely getting the boot for throwing in the towel although he's prob helped Deontay out by preventing him from getting a Lacy-esque beating that he def wouldn't recover from.

I guess the coffee smell is to weak...Seeing as Fury like to get inside his opponents head try this one....maybe they need to employ Peter Fury as new Head trainer ....there ya go !!
