I'm not surprised Nichols couldn't do it. He needs an opponent who just has some decent skill... Punching power really isn't and issue.... Also the skilled opponent must not have a lift threatening illness or be paid off. (Stiverne was both)

What most people are missing here is that Wilder is the most fun to watch HW out there right now!
Yes Parker, and Joshua are a blast to watch, but now that Wilder is in with tougher comp, and he is getting wobbled, we are seeing a KO, or be Ko'ed type guy that brings an edge of the seat type of atmosphere that only big punching HW's with questionable chins can deliver!
At this point we should quit complaining, and enjoy his fights! We know from here on out most of them will be very entertaining. No Floyd, Or Wlad punch, and grab stuff here!
I don't think Wilder will end up with quite as good of a resume as Michael Moorer, or Tommy Morrison, but he very well could be as fun to watch as the latter.

Yes Morrison in his day was heavily hyped also, but indeed he was fun to watch in every fight!

He wasn,t knocked down in 2 world title fights!! his chin is decent enough

 

Wilder has big money behind him so nothing will surprise me with his career. His abilities however leave much to be desired.

 

He avoids top fighters like the plague. That chin must be amir khan-ish

 

This is what I decided after thinking about it too, totally agree!

 

Who's the Russian that shattered it in ams.. he'd be a good fighter to manage.. he had fast hands like Islam Timurziev.
