He can't keep fighting the Molina's and Duhaupas's of the world and keep his belt. Povetkin's mandatory with negotiations ordered to start in October. The way I see it he only really has two legitimate choices

    1. Faces his mandatory Povetkin. This would go to purse bid, Rybinsky would probably big around 15 million for it, Wilder would get the champs 75%, so about 12mil.

    2. Faces Wlad for unification. I think it would be a hyped up bout, as it would be for final unification, and Wilder, while getting much less % of the profits, could still pull in maybe about half of the Povetkin purse.

Otherwise, he'd be stripped, and lose his money making ability. WBC has given him more flexibility than it normally gives contenders, but I see no way realistic way they allow him to fight anyone other that Povetkin or Wlad after the Duhaupas fight. It would basically be unprecedented in HW history.

He's got slightly better chances against Povetkin, but he'll be a fairly big underdog against either. At least against Wlad he'd be a part of a historic spectacle and event, and he'd be trying to be the first person to unify so many belts at HW. He could probably also work out an agreement with Wlad to fight in America, while if he fights Povetkin it will be in Russia. But then he'd get more money with Povetkin. I know some people will swear he'll vacate, or find a way out of it, but when has that ever happened in boxing history in a comparable situation? Assume he has to fight one of the two, who do you think it will be?

Wilder beats Duhaupas. Fury upsets Klitschko. Wilder beats Povetkin. Wilder beats Fury - becomes unified champ.

You really just don't like the K's much, do you? I obviously disagree, although if somehow Fury did beat Wlad, and Wilder beat Povetkin, I'd pick Wilder to beat Fury

    Neither.

That belt is getting held hostage until legal action happens, you watch.

Just another yankee hype-job who will milk it dry. Bone dry.

This is the likeliest scenario. Wlad has always been the most likely target for the cash-out.

He's going to fight Povetkin, and probably beat him. Fight with Wlad probably never happens.

I think he'll have to fight Povetkin, as Riyabinskiy (Povetkin's promoter, who made Klitschko come to Moscow for over $17 millions) is very serious about this one.

On what basis would one say Wilder "probably" beats Povetkin. His ability to take a punch against tomato cans?

Or is it his ability to KO these pathetic no hopers, guys who Chris Byrd could stop?:verysad

Or maybe it's recent his life and death performance against limited journeyman Eric Molina, where he was wobbled several times?:rofl

No, what is far more probable is that Povetkin takes this glass jawed FRAUD out early, just like he did Mike Perez. :nod

If he fights Povetkin, you are probably right about the Klitschko fight, because why would Wlad want to fight this joke after he's already been exposed? I have to say, however, I'd still love to see this fraud get starched a second time, just for emphasis!:deal
