Wilders first real test is against a shot 48 year old Luis Ortiz who need blood pressure pills?

I think Wilder is an annoying fraud as much as the vast majority of the rest of the boxing community but hasn't this exact thread been done multiple times?

Just enjoy the all hype up until fight night then enjoy the fight, im sure its going to be a good one. You never know, if enough of you Wilder haters cross all your fingers and toes 'old man' Ortiz might just win!!

Ortiz is up there in age but doesn’t have a lot of wear and tear on his engine. At least not as a pro. He’s one of the beat heavyweight boxers from a skills perspective in the sport right now and can’t blame Wilder for fighting him. It’s a test we as fans have been asking for Wilder to take. The heavyweight division isn’t exactly talent rich at the moment so he’s not left with many options. Fury, Joshua, Parker, Wilder and Ortiz are the top of the food chain and then we have Povetkin hanging around the top of the division but struggling to get fights. I’m looking forward to Wilder/Ortiz. I don’t count the old man out. He’s got the skills and craft to create some interesting dynamics that could spell trouble for the younger American heavyweight world champion

 

Can you imagine if an old man knocks Wilder out, and before you say "he is only 38".. Dave Allen who fought Ortiz said "He smells like he is 70 years old"

I trust the nose of Dave Allen, it's a big nose, a heavyweight nose, personally I rate Dave's nose in the top 10 P4P noses.


Anyway, Wilder fans have gone noticeably quiet over the last week and getting quieter, not as loud and brash as they normally are, I sense some pre fight nerves, they have hung their hats on Wilder and their reputations.

Ortiz can punch, it only takes one solid left hand and this forum is going in to meltdown.

 

It's a step up.Despite Ortiz age.Wilder is to long,to fast and a great engine.Wilder by TKO.Im hoping Ortiz has good enough whiskers to get in range ,stay on his chest and unload.
