I rewatched the fight, and I lost count how many times Wilder got his feet tangled up, when he was moving away from Ortiz.. Someone is eventually gonna exploit that flaw, and catch Wilder due to his feet being out of position/crossed and BOOM. he better get that fixed.

This is a real good point. Wilder's footwork his horrible. A fighter with very good footwork might be able to exploit that. Fury comes to mind. Usyk maybe.

Everyone keeps trying to evaluate Wilder like a traditional fighter but he's just not. Yes, his footwork is highly unorthadox but at the same time the guy can cover a ton of ground with it. His punching technique is bad but it creates odd angles that are very hard to deal with. His punch selection is limited but his right hand is so potent and versatile that it doesnt matter. The dude is an animal and thinking someone is going to come in and expose him with good footwork and fundamentals is just a fantasy. It's going to take a hell of a fighter to beat him. Fury seems to have the best combination of traits to get the job done but he needs to fight a perfect fight for 12 rounds if he doesn't he's going to sleep

I'm not criticising his punching technique... it's amazing... and another thing, nobody talks about his timing... that shot he caught Ortiz with had perfect timing. he fainted slight like he was gonna throw a jab, and found the perfect opening .. and landed that bomb
