Hard to say if Wilder can take the heat when things get hot because his opposition has been luke warm to say the least
Whatever the case he got the belt ,and been boxing since 2008 as a pro...take that as you wish hes the only top guy who somehow got away from Wlad.
Theres a differance between making right choices and clearly avoiding top guys. sorry but only a Wilder fan will try and say Wilders resume is remotley on par to Joshua,Joshua only had a select few he could fight,Wilder has years over him and hasn't even fought guys when they were good who you can say wow. wilder SLOWED his career down intentionally way before Joshua was even talked about to avoid Wlad Klitchko, anyone who looks at his resume would see this.
Your case is absolute nonsense, I don't think Wilder was ever keen to fight Wlad but to say he was ducking Wlad doesn't make sense either unless you have proof and doesn't say because they never fought.
Obviously i'm trying to be logical with a Wilder fan, even though wilder himself admitted to waiting until wlad gets older back in 2014...Wilder not KEEN on fighting Wlad? you dont say? .im done...lol
Joshua and Wilder resume is comparable right now but that's bad for Wilder because AJ is fighting at Wilder's level in half the time. Your talking nonsense about him ducking Klitischko, he's obviously steered his career for the easier belt but that's not the same as ducking him. Ducking is vacating your belt for another fight/leaving a division when you have a dangerous mandatory etc.
I'm a wilder fan? I made this thread and said Wilder is jealous of AJ because AJ is more respected and is taking a big challenge before him. Come back with a logical argument please.
Just stop. They are both on the same track. Neither has avoided anyone. Joshua has his chance and Wilder will soon get his chance.
For a guy who started boxing at age 19 he has achieved a lot. He's beaten Chakhiyev and upset some other guys and qualified for the Olympics where he earned a Bronze. A ****en bronze. And he has achieved all of this in 4 years and fought his first pro fight at age 23. He was never reluctant to fight Wlad or any top contender. I never listen to wanna be critics. I've seen guys start boxing late and get ktfo and their careers are over! Having Breland in his corner is a plus. If they think that Joshua is ready then that's the risk that they are taking. Obviously they have faith in Joshua. Saying that Joshua has done something Wilder hasn't is asinine. Time lines don't matter to me, fights do.
Wilder's Bronze medal means **** all lol... He got trounced by Russo the only named fighter he faced. Hopkins was in his early 20s when he began boxing, Sergio Martinez was 20, Rahman was also 20. You don't listen to facts or logic... That's for damn sure!!
