His lack of 'Boxing Science/Ring IQ/Whatever you wanna call it' almost got him KO'd against Ortiz.

Against a man that size, and with the slow footwork Ortiz has, you do not try and trade hooks with the guy!

    Use the jab.
    Establish the range.
If the opportunity arises, look for that right hand.

When he took the 'Boxing Science' approach in the fight, that was actually when he had most success.

No matter how 'boring' Wlad/Fury are....and Joshua is becoming, it's because they they realise that against these smaller and slower fighters, the most comfortable way to win is the 'Boxing Science'.

Lewis, an ATG, potential GOAT, with concussive power, was no less 'boring' than the above.
His fight against Tua, is exactly how Wilder should've been looking to dominate Ortiz.

I think he needs to be working on 'Setting up' Fury as much as possible in his next camp. He's an extremely difficult man to hit clean......So in that sense it's a big step up for Wilder, and hopefully we see more strings to his bow.
