    I remember watching that fight and thinking exactly the same.
    It’s as though they’d said he’s the champ you have to go and wrench it away from him, even though it diminished his chances.
    It might have made for a more boring fight but it would have been closer.
    Anyway back on subject, I think Benitez stays just one step ahead of Mike throughout this.
    A tough fight but Benitez wins a fairly close UD.

    Good fight. The result depends upon which Benitez turns up. If Wilfred is as focused as he can be,he clearly outboxes McCallum over the distance. If,however,he's sloppily prepared he still outboxes Mike but eventually gets caught by The Bodysnatcher and stopped late in the fight.

    Wilfred,in my mind,was at his best when he was challenging for a title. He was great but could have been MORE great.
