...on an ATG list???? And while were at it, who would win at 147 or 154 in a fight between these 2 legendary rican fighters???

I rank Benitez higher because I think he beat better fighters, his achievements were more impressive, and he had far greater ability. I'd back him to widely outpoint Tito at both 147 and 154.

He'd outbox Tito for me, going to the ropes isn't great against Tito, but Benitez isn't one dimensional and can box tremendoulsy well.

Benitez's best win... was it taking Cervantes's title at age 17? Or outfighting Roberto Duran at 154?

Trinidad's best win... was Fernando Vargas.

    There's only one answer here.

Classic tossup between a slickster and a puncher. Either pick can be arguable.

Benitez by far,and he would frustrate Tito head to head, and easilly outbox his head off,Tito would hit air all night.

Historically, I'd say Benitez ranks higher. He won his world title at 17 against a tough, skilled champion (Carlos Palomino). (MY BAD: it was Cervantes who he beat for his first title/thanks boxrec). Head to head, I"d go with Benitez as well. He was so slippery on defense and could build up points against Trinidad. There would be some tough moments in the fight for Benitez, but I think he'd pull out the decision win.

Anyone else think this would be a walk in the park for Benitez?

Benitez won the title at 17 and won titles at 3 different divisions, whereas Tito dominated the WW division for 7 years, and won at 154 and 160. Hence why I call it a pick 'em.
