Who had a more effective style? Boxing science at it's best.

Great matchup. Floyd doesn't have the firepower to crack that defense.

Floyd would NEVER fight Benitez anyway.

I think Benitez has a very similar style to Floyd but a little higher punch output. Both very crafty, but I go with Benitez in a close decision win.

No way does Floyd ever get close to winning this, Master v Apprentice! Floyd on the ropes goes the same way as Maurice Hope!

Benitez owns PBF at 140 and 147... He was far busier than PBF, and PBF would not be able to land enough ,potshotting. Benitez was busy enough (however) to land enough punches to keep ahead of PBF. Benitez 12 or 15 rd UD...

I used to think that Benitez would win, but now I'm not so sure. Floyd impressed me this year, stepping up to beat Alvarez the way he did. Benitez has more impressive victories over Duran, Cervantes and Palomino, but Floyd still has victories over Mosley, De La Hoya, Marquez, Cotto, and Hatton. The thing that makes me think Floyd could beat Benitez, is he has that Leonard style savvy. I figure he'd fight Benitez the same way Leonard did and outsmart him. For now, I'm calling it a draw.
