AHHHHAAAAAAA!!!!!!! I knew you really thought Duran was one of the best and you spewed all that anti-Roberto bull caca just to protect yr boy Whitaker. I will argue with you about Duran no moore now that Isee your real feelings.

I'ma big cotto fan. Benitez is a notch above him h2h at their best.

However! Cotto has a good style for benitez he is a great jabber and doesn't rely on the right hand which benitez would have no problem avoiding.
Body punches would not be as easily avoided as headshots and cotto has good power with them.
Cottos maneuverability with his feet will come in handy as well.

Cotto could have slot of success with the jab to force benitez back and body punches to slow him down.
Benitez would still win but good fight.

Mismatch. Not only would Cotto be painfully outboxed, I'll even go as far as to say Benitez probably stops him late.

El Radar wouldn't be able to miss Cotto with his quick lead right, which had sneaky power on it.

Two different levels of fighter here.

Battle of the P.R. Welters. Cotto probably "overachieves", where Benitez "Underachieves"...with all that natural talent.

Wilfred by UD...but might have a flash knockdown against him.

Benitez isn't gonna bring his B-game for a huge fight with his fellow countrymen.

Rest assured, it would be the Palomino/Duran version of Benitez. And considering Cotto wasn't as good as either of those guys... yeah, this doesn't go well for Miggy.

Benitez is a tad overrated in this forum but he's better than Cotto. Benitez UD.
