I think Benitez would beat him. He'd have to be on his game tho as Norris has a great blend of speed and power.

I just don't see Norris getting past
Benitez at all .I enjoyed watching Terrible Terry ,how at time's hrd throw caution to the wind ,it made for entertainment .But up against a boxing talent like Wilfred ,I only see him losing im afraid .
    Benitez W Ko 11 Norris

Benetiz had flat efforts at that weight just like Norris. I like the Norris legs a ton better in this matchup. i don't think he plays the game and lets Benetiz retreat to the ropes playing the counter game. Terry would make him use those legs all 12 rounds and that is something Benetiz was not so adept at jr middle.

lopsided decision win for Norris to me in a stale bout with lots of feinting on the outside by Benetiz but no punching. And the quick counters Norris could throw and land, I think anyway, make Benetiz very conservative in any sort of punch output or combinations. I think he throws 1 or maybe 2 punches and stops & plays it safe and just follows Norris around the ring.

Norris used to get countered more than Benitez did, Norris would have been hit more by Hearns and wouldn`t have survived the knockdown Benitez suffered he was pretty fragile.

Hearns would have destroyed Norris but Benitez was a big problem for Tommy.

And how they would do against Hearns in contrast has nothing to do with how a fight between them plays out now does it? Unless of course you think Benitez will duplicate Hearns persona.

Why don’t you just once make an analysis instead of using circular logic that has nothing to do with the question.

You do realize that Tommy fought and beat Benitez with ease, right?

Sorry I always think logical, my brain hurts whenever I don`t, I`m part vulcan, I just think Benitez had better defensive skills and the Hearns fight proves that, Norris never matchedd that dispay agauinst a fighter even near Tommy`s ability, Terry`s resume really isn`t that good at all.

No way, Hearns missed 90% of his punches and many rounds had little punches landed by either fighter, I feel it would be the same if Norris fought Wilfredo, I just don`t think Terry would land that much on Benitez, and when he did he would get countered often.

Oh you misunderstood! There was nothing logical about it!

Unless Benitez fights like Hearns and possess Hearns power, it does not matter if Norris or Benitez fare better against Hearns. Because neither Norris or Benitez fight like him. Pick either guy based on how their own styles contrast rather than how they would do against SRL Hearns or Duran....Hearns has nothing to do with it.

Small tip: circular logic is the antithesis of logical just in case you come across this observation again

I feel the Duran of the Moore fight may have been able to beat Norris, is that too circular for you?

Once again no! This has nothing to do with Norris vs Benitez! You would think sooner or later you would nail one even if just by accident! Oh well, this has been so much fun either way

Once again revealing you are anything but logical.
