The Fates were not too kind to these two down the road. Albeit Lady Luck can not be Fully blamed, It seems incredible now that such a crude operator as Mayorga could get the Double over Vernon... I think Wilfred would be favoured to outslick Mayorga with a minimum of fuss.. Vernon Did get the Double over the much more cultured Shane Mosely .. would Wilfred be favoured to Do Likewise...? If Vernon was susceptible to Extreme Wildman Bullying its unlikely be a factor here, Therefore Could Vernons straight punch armoury give Wilfred too Little Mistake Material to Exploit..And leave him Frustrated ? Or would Vernon be Mapped, Timed and Out-manoeuvred by Wilfred ? Two Very Skilled Boxers... Vernon or Wilfred ?
I think Wilfred had more than enough juice to beat Vernon by decision, but for the most part, better be on his A game.
Forrest was a quality, who just happened to have Mosley's number. That's it. He wasn't in Benitez's league by any stretch. Benitez would have totally outclassed him.
