Not my rankings, its how the ring had them ranked.

I don't so much have an issue with the competition Floyd faced. He pretty much fought everyone eventually.

But it just isn't at as high a level as Benitez.

1-2 against 3 of the fab 4 ain't a bad thing, especially with the 2 being ultra competitive

    Brother Rotimi,

I dig your devotion to Mr. Mayweather, but even his most ardent supporters have to admit that Floyd rarely fought on even terms above 140.

    Clenelo was drained.

Marquez was cheated on the scales.

Maidana was forced to wear pillows.

Pacquiao was injured and Floyd used illegal IV fluids.

I mean, that's a lot of asterisks. I am not hating on Mr. Mayweather, but these things detract from the fights and they disadvantaged the opponents.

Pakkuman when you become the A side you get some advantages such as ring size, choice of gloves etc. Fighting Canelo at 152 pounds when Canelo and his team offered to fight him at that weight is not draining him especially when a few years before he was fighting at 147. Canelo and his team were stupidly confident and got their ass kicked. At least I respect they never used it as an excuse. Floyd could no longer come down to 144 pounds and he owned and paid some money to Marquez purse. It was not cheating he just the crap out of Marquez.
Maidana was not wearing pillows just because he was not allowed to wear horse hair gloves quite rightly in my opinion.

If Pacquiao was injured why did he not pull out and look to reschedule after all we had waited so long for the fight we could have waited longer. He did not seem injured when he was swinging and missing. You know my views on excuses after losing it’s not a great look Brother.

People try to say the same about Morales in terms of pillow gloves but I've never bought the criticism.

Only Oscar was drained, which wasn't Pac's fault to begin with. Cotto and Hatton are only drained when posters like you need to come up with a way to discredit those wins....

Only a Floydiot would bring in Floyd's name into a Wilfred Benitez thread.
That said, Benitez has 3 times the courage of a Floyd.....

Duran didn't have that much mileage on the clock?

He was the fighter of the decade in the 1970s and long time lightweight champion.

He faced Benitez in the LMW division.

Of course on the general forum, a topic on Benitez becomes a Floyd thread. You guys are pathetic. Do you ever get tired of ONLY discussing Floyd, Pac, Fury, Canelo, and Wilder?

    But yes, Benitez was brilliant.
