I really hate to read of this regarding Bazooka Gomez's health (and other) problems. He has always been a favorite of mine...I have always held him in the highest regard as a great champion...especially when he ruled the 122 lb division. I hope that he can get a handle on all his demons and start living a healthier lifestyle...as he has blown up in weight so much from his glory days. I still root for the Bazooka!!

Hurts hearing great fighters in bad condition. Hope Bazooka fully recovers whatever it was he was going through.

It nothing else, it was heartening to see Gomez break into a smile with the mere humanity shown by one of his rescuers. At least there’s still a spark - a spark for recovery. His ex wife’s due care and action is also uplifting.

If he has been mistreated, misused and abused, I sincerely hope the guilty, parasitic party or parties are are totally removed, with no further claims on his wealth/property and brought to justice.

Just me perhaps, but though obviously unhealthy, Wilfredo still looks youthful, like a guy in his 40s - 50s - but repeat, still unhealthy in appearance.

Facially and body wise, Wilfredo reminds me of my brother-in-law who used to be a natural 9 stone wringing wet - but in middle age he totally blew out - about 15 stone - he has been that weight for years now and has never looked back - that alone can invite a host of health issues.
