This fight would be reasonably competitive for the first 4 or 5 rounds before Gomez starts getting to Morales..and like vs Zarate, he would fire up both afterburners after he had Erik hurt and finishes him off in round 7.
This is the sort of style Morales does well in, I think Gomez probably wins but it resembles something like the first Barrera fight. Morales was bigger than Gomez and he has the chin to take his punches and heart to fight fire with fire Gomez UD - 8-4 in hard fought war
