Even though I would favor Wilfredo, could Jamie potentially score an upset?

In terms of sheer power, absolutely. However, Garza's defence wasn't the best, and his chin was pretty shaky. I think he might be able to score an early kd, but, ultimately, Bazooka's edge in terms of skill would be the difference, and he'd carve out a middle-rounds stoppage, scoring two or three kd's along the way.

Jaimie at best wins a couple of early rounds, but Wilfredo is on another level, and by the eighth round, and about 3 knockdowns in, Garza loses to Gomez by knockout.

Just a sparring session for Gomez. Gomez beats him 10 out of 10 times.

I think that Gomez would always beat Garza, but not because I think all that much of Gomez. Every time I've seen him fight, and at one point I owned tape of 7 or 8 of his fights, Gomez looks like hell until he gets hurt. Then he stops the other guy. Garza would hurt him and then Gomez would stop him
That is also why I think that Gomez and Little Red Lopez would be the greatest gunslinging fistfight of all times. Both guys got hit and got hurt and then came back.
