Gomez via KO, Lopez is still unproven against a fighter on Wilfredo's level.

Hmm...At this point you have to go with Gomez by kayo, but Lopez certainly seems to have the power and technique to hold his own for a few of the early rounds (maybe even scoring a flash kd) before Bazooka figures him out and lowers the boom.

and really it's all mute ..we're not sure what will happen with lopez ..i say give him 2 years and we'll see how far he goes he might end up getting the jump on gomez in the head 2 head rankings

I'm not that impressed with Lopez thus far, not nearly as much as everyone else it seems anyway.

Wilfredo Gomez and fairly quickly. I'm a big fan of JuanMa Lopez but Gomez P4P is on a different level (at least right now).

If nothing else you have to be amazed by his power.

Ponce had a damned good jaw and he just got nuked out of there.

what is not impressive about the guy, he has all the skills and talent to be a great fighter and with that type of punching power he can go a long way,, you are probably not impressed bc nobody has tested him yet and he hasnt fought a world class fighter, maybe he will impress you when he KO a top fighter, but how can you say he hasnt been impressive in his last couple of fights,, i mean how more impressive can he be,

I'm just not impressed with his skill-set thus far. He's a good fighter with real power, but he's slow and one paced, and I've seen nothing to suggest anything extraordinary about his technical prowess. At the best I see him becoming a Cotto level fighter, but of the boxer-puncher variety rather than pressure fighting/wannabe pure boxing.
